- They would say he would sort of ramble on in ways that they considered to be incoherent, but they said not unintelligible, that they sort of were streams of meaningful words and sentences, but that they didn't really have a way to contextualize what he was saying and meaning, sort of in the same way that somebody on the spectrum might have a real strong, what we call perseverative interest, like a fixation, just sort of talk about that without necessarily checking that the other person is following along with what they're saying.
