Hello, guys. Tera here. I believe many of you have already gone to the theater and met Tom Cruise, right? Basically, I don’t watch movies at movie theaters quite often, but I did go and see this one when it was premiering in Taiwan ‘cause I heard a huge amount of money was used to film this work, and all of the major characters indeed went on real demanding flight training just to make it even closer to the reality. And, of course, Tom Cruise never lets his audiences down. It turns out to be an epic achievement. Well, I’m talking about this because today we’re going to learn a well-known sentence from another movie in which Tom Cruise starred as the titular Jerry Maguire. If you are a fan of his, you definitely don’t want to miss it. Alright, and today’s featured sentence:

Featured sentence: Dorothy agrees with Jerry's realization that their love is more meaningful than winning a game.

Tips:
realization: four syllables with the stress on the third one. "rea" is /rɪə/, "li" is a reduced "lə", "za" as the stressed syllable is /zey/. Finally, add up "tion" and we get "rea-li-za-tion".
love is: there’s a linking between "love" and "is".
meaningful: three syllables with the stress on the first one. "ea" in mean is a long vowel /i/, whereas "ing" in the second syllable is a combination of a short vowel /ɪ/ and a nasal /ŋ/. So, it is "mean-ing-ful".
