G’day, VoiceTubers, it’s great to have you back here with me for today’s pronunciation challenge. Our sentence comes from a video which explains the basics of business etiquette. A lot of them may seem like common sense but hey, you’d be surprised that a lot of people these days don't seem to have the same common sense as you or me! Respecting each other is the most fundamental thing, not just in business, but with everyone you encounter. Treat others the way you want to be treated. How would you feel if you’re trying to have a conversation but the person you’re talking to keeps looking at his phone? Making good eye contact is actually very important and it shows that you’re engaged and that you value the other person’s time and thoughts.  Now let’s take a look at our sentence of the day. 
Sentence:
If your tone is bossy or annoyed, on the other hand, it could irritate the other person and make them uncooperative.

Apart from emails, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings, nowadays it is quite common to be communicating over instant messaging apps like WhatsApp or Line. Personally, I cannot stand it when people send lines and lines of separate short messages, especially in a group chat.
