Here is what’s important in my experience to keep the check-in process fast and smooth. Airlines recommend that you get to the airport 2-3 hours before your flight. It might be a good idea to get there even earlier in some cases. Then it’s always good to look presentable, have your luggage organized, and papers in order. Once you’re in the airport, it’s a good idea to follow the airport staff’s instructions, and be polite to other passengers. I even go as far as checking out who is standing in the queues before deciding which line to wait behind.
