Hello VoiceTubers! I’m Jonathan, back with another pronunciation challenge for you! In today’s video, we get a look at what would happen if suddenly the Earth had half the gravity it normally does. For example: “I think she’s the most beautiful girl in the universe!”

If you’re wondering what hyperbolic means, it means to exaggerate on purpose.

3. determine (v.) [dɪˋtɝmɪn] /dɪˈtɜrmən/
決定；影響

Our next word is determine, it’s a verb. It means to control or influence something directly, or to decide what will happen. Here’s an example sentence: “The race times will be added up, and the winner will be determined by who has the lowest total time.”

The next word, determined, which is used as an adj. means wanting to do something very much and not allowing anyone or any difficulties to stop you. Here is an example sentence: “Despite many setbacks, Edmund Hillary remained determined to climb Mt. Everest.”
