  • But also, I wanted to run through some popular or some common 80th choices on the air sex.

  • So we're talking E.

  • T s that are super accessible for us.

  • Ozzy's Now I want to talk about some off the e t f that track the multi markets.

  • Some also ut f the track, the US markets and samo Z E T s that also go global.

  • So we're gonna be breaking it down into those key areas with I think it's about five different chefs for this video.

  • So I hope you enjoy it later, like on the video if you do, or if you find it useful.

  • But for now, let's get started.

  • So first up, let's talk about what is an E T.

  • F.

  • Well, E T f is an exchange traded fund.

  • So what?

  • That means it is a fund that shares are traded on a stock exchange.

  • Now. 00:00:56.010 --> 00:01:1.750 This type of stock is extremely popular amongst people that really like wide diversification. 00:01:1.750 --> 00:01:14.080 The reason for that is because the ZF itself isn't like a business what it is, it's a method for you to invest in lots of different companies, but only ever having to buy one stock.

  • So every e t f out there has an investment objective that it tries to mate.

  • And that's usually what this investment objective is is the investment jetted is that the e t.

  • F tries to mimic the performance off a particular index.

  • So if an E.

  • T s investment objective, for example, is to mimic the performance off the S and P 500 then essentially what you're doing is you're buying one ship that cf and that share represents a very small sliver off the largest 500 U.

  • S based companies.

  • So it's trying to track the S and P 500.

  • So this is obviously very brokerage effective system. 00:01:49.650 --> 00:02:0.480 So for people that like wide diversification, it really helps them instead of having to buy lots of small chunks in lots of different companies and paper encourage every single time you could just find an A C F. 00:02:0.490 --> 00:02:11.160 That's investment objective is in line with what you want to achieve from your investing and then you combine that E t f and you only have to pay that one brokerage fee and that one brokerage fee gets you shares in 1/80.

  • But that one a t f.

  • Represents a large amount of different stocks.

  • Now, let's have a look at some specific HCFC on the I s sex.

  • Now, it's at this point of the video where I do have to tell you that I'm not recommending any of these E t s.

  • I'm not putting these in here cause I recommended by hold or sell them.

  • These are just some common examples off E t s that live on the air sex.

  • So let's start with some air sex listed a TFC that track first of all, track the Australian share market.

  • So the 1st 1 that springs to mind is V A s.

  • And the proper title for V S is the vanguard.

  • Australian shares index E T f.

  • So if we have a look at the V A s investment objective, we can see and this is just from the Vanguard website, so this is readily available online. 00:02:55.230 --> 00:03:1.800 I might leave a link down the description below, but the investment objective for V S is the Vanguard Australian shares index. 00:03:1.810 --> 00:03:2.150 E T. 00:03:2.150 --> 00:03:10.210 F seeks to track the return of the S and P ASX 300 index before taking into account fees, expenses and tax.

  • So the fund overview the H F provides low cost, broadly diversified exposure to Australian companies and property trusts listed on the Australian Securities Exchange.

  • It also offers potential long term capital growth along with dividend income and franking credits.

  • So when you buy shares in V S, essentially you are buying a very small sliver in the largest 300 Australian companies by market capitalization.

  • However, they also pay a distribution, which you can kind of think off as an E.

  • T s version of a dividend.

  • So it's also good.

  • If you were, someone may be looking for dividend income or income from your investing, so it offers a wide diversification potential long term capital growth through investing in a lot of Australia shares, and it offers dividend income as well. 00:03:58.140 --> 00:04:2.120 So that's the first e t f, and another easy if that tracks the Australian market. 00:04:2.240 --> 00:04:4.390 Another example is, I said. 00:04:4.550 --> 00:04:10.170 Now I owe said is the Black Rocks that's the name of the company that offers the CFC, the black rock it.

  • If so, it's called the iShares core S and P ASX 280th.

  • So this one is very similar to V s.

  • However, it does have some slight differences.

  • Again, it's an easy if that is going to track the Australian market.

  • However, in V s.

  • In that case, the A s was for the top 300 Australian companies and I, oh said is just for the top 200 Australian companies.

  • And if you go on to the website again, you'll see the investment objective for Io said so the investment objective.

  • The fund aims to provide investors with the performance often index before fees and expenses composed off the 200 largest Australian securities listed on the air sex.

  • And both of these E T s do have low fees as well.

  • V s has a management fee of 0.14% and I owe. 00:04:55.640 --> 00:05:2.490 Zed has a management fee of 0.15% and this is not a management fee that you have to think about it. 00:05:2.490 --> 00:05:3.790 It's not like you have to. 00:05:4.150 --> 00:05:9.370 You're going to see this E t F taking money out of your bank account every year or something like that. 00:05:9.460 --> 00:05:11.100 It's just you don't have to worry about it.

  • We'll actually get got in contact with Vanguard and ask them to explain in more detail how exactly this fee is taken out.

  • And when they responded, actually told me that the management fees are deducted from the net asset value off your funds, and the Valley was calculated on a per annum basis and deducted monthly so you won't have actually see like the Vanguard E T f taking money out of your bank account.

  • It's not like you have to write them a check every month or something like that.

  • It's all included in your overall investment, So there are some E t F options for tracking the Australian market.

  • But what if you didn't care at all for the Australian market?

  • What if you're more interested in the American markets? 00:05:50.740 --> 00:06:9.960 Well, in that case, you've still got options to diversify across the American markets from right here in Australia on the air six and I think a lot of people don't actually understand that they think that to buy American companies or to diversify in American companies you have to buy through an international brokerage site. 00:06:9.970 --> 00:06:11.140 But that's totally not the case.

  • You can buy a T s on the air, sex that track the American indices as well.

  • For instance, if I wanted to buy an E.

  • T f here in Australia, that helps me track the S and P 500.

  • So the top the biggest 500 American companies I can I can do that.

  • And an example of an e t f that does that is I ve ve to the actual name for I V V is the Black Rock iShares s and P 500 e t f.

  • And the investment objective for Ivy is the fun six To track the investment results of an index composed off large capitalization US equities.

  • The index that s and P 500 is designed to measure the performance of large capitalization US equities and covers approximately 80% of available market capitalization.

  • It is widely regarded as the best single gauge of large cap U.

  • S. 00:06:59.690 --> 00:07:0.360 Equities. 00:07:0.490 --> 00:07:5.860 So I've is the black rock version off the S and P 580 f. 00:07:5.870 --> 00:07:9.460 You can also have a look at one which is called Spy or SP Y. 00:07:9.620 --> 00:07:14.780 Now that is the SPDR or Spider S and P 500 a.

  • T.

  • F.

  • Trust.

  • And again you can have a look at its investment objectives.

  • And it says that s pay Dia S and P 580 f Trust six to provide investment results that before expenses correspond generally to the price and you performance off the S and P 500 index and again, very low fees for both of these options.

  • So you've got 0.4% for I've A and 0.9% for SP.

  • Why?

  • So there's, um hdfc on the Australian market that will track the S and P 500.

  • But what if you wanted to go a little bit further than that?

  • You still wanted to diversify across America, But you've just wanted the whole American market.

  • Well, if you came to get every single company in the United States, then you've got another Vanguard option, which is V.

  • T s, which is the vanguard US Total market shares index E T F on this has 3680 holdings for But what if that index isn't even diversified enough.

  • What if you wanted to go to that next year up of diversification, which is the whole world now?

  • I'm not sure if there's an A t f wakened by every single company in the entire world.

  • Hello, that you can look at some big global indices and find ETFs that track the global indices.

  • So, for example, one air sex listed a t f that diversifies across the globe is I owe.

  • And the name for that is the Black Rock I shares Global 180 f.

  • And for this H F B investment objective is this fund six? 00:08:45.900 --> 00:09:2.430 To track the investment results OVEN Index composed of 100 large capitalization global equities, the index that s and P Global 100 is designed to measure the performance of 100 multinational blue chip companies of major importance in the global equity markets. 00:09:2.440 --> 00:09:8.230 And by going on to the website looking at the fact sheets for these particular E t f C can actually have a look at their holdings. 00:09:8.230 --> 00:09:20.910 So if you go and have a look at the holdings for I, you can have a look that you're going to get a lot of American companies, but you are gonna get big blue chip companies from around the world across different stock markets all around the world.

  • So, for example, you get, you know, Microsoft Apple, your Amazon Google.

  • But then you start getting Nestle Samsung Toid.

  • I still get things like McDonald's being get Unilever here in Australia, you get BHP, you get Loreal, you get Sony, you get cannon so hates of businesses all around the world.

  • However, for this kind of e t f, the management fee is a little bit higher at 0.4% per annum, so that something is l suit factor in.

  • But overall, they're kind of some options that you've got from sitting here in Australia.

  • If you wanted to keep investing on the air sex, there's some easy if options that you've got that cover. 00:09:58.100 --> 00:10:1.150 Firstly, Australian shares diversification across Australia. 00:10:1.360 --> 00:10:8.080 Then you've got some options for diversification across America, and you've also got diversification options across the whole globe. 00:10:8.080 --> 00:10:19.860 So I hope you enjoy this video Guys that had that kind of help me out and gave you some, maybe options to start researching a little bit further yourself of course, all of these you just have to type in the ticker symbol and a T f into Google.

  • And it will come up with the like, the vanguard or the Black Rock, the website.

  • And you can just look at all the fact sheets on these different Gs if you wanted to learn more.

  • But that's really today, guys, I'd be really enjoyed this.

  • I'd love to hear from you guys down in the comments section below.

  • So are there any E t s that you are particularly interested in ones that you are maybe not so interested in ones that maybe you've invested in before?

  • And how's it going for you?

  • I'd love to hear from you, So leave that down in the comments section below.

  • That's it for today.

  • Believe it.

But also, I wanted to run through some popular or some common 80th choices on the air sex.
