"I'm the scariest creature in this wood!" "Just walk behind me and you'll soon see,

everyone is afraid of me." "Alright." said the gruffalo bursting with

laughter. "You go ahead and I'll follow after."

They walked and walked, till the gruffalo said;

"I hear a hiss in the leaves ahead." "It's snake." said the mouse "why snake,

"Amazing!" said the gruffalo. They walked some more till the gruffalo

驚人！Gruffalo說。他們又走了一些路，直到Gruffalo說

said: "I hear a hoot in the trees ahead."

我聽到前面的樹上有呼嚕聲

"It's owl." said the mouse "why owl, hello."

是貓頭鷹.老鼠說!! 是貓頭鷹，你好.

Owl took one look at the gruffalo. "oh dear!" he said "goodbye little mouse"

貓頭鷹看了一眼Gruffalo!! 哦天啊! 再見了小老鼠。

and off he flew to his treetop house. "you see?" said the mouse. "I told you

so" "Astounding!" said the gruffalo.

令人震驚！Gruffalo說。

They walked some more till the gruffalo said;

他們又走了一段路，直到Gruffalo說。

"I hear feet on the path ahead." "its fox." said the mouse "why fox, hello."

我聽到前面的路上有腳步聲. 是狐狸! 老鼠說 狐狸，你好.

Fox took one look at the gruffalo. "Oh help!" he said "goodbye little mouse"

狐狸看了一眼Gruffalo. 哦，救命啊！他說 再見了小老鼠

and off he ran to his underground house. "Well, gruffalo." said the mouse. " you

see? everyone is afraid of me! But now my tummy is beginning to rumble

看吧，大家都怕我！但是現在我的肚子已經開始咕咕叫了。

and My favourite food is- gruffalo crumble!"

而我最喜歡的食物是--Gruffalo餡餅！。

"Gruffalo crumble!" the gruffalo said And as quick as the wind he turned and
