So a lot of students of ESL will sometimes make mistakes by saying that somebody does a crime or somebody makes a crime where they should always be saying somebody commits a crime. Okay. Let's look at some examples. Of course here with the X. This is wrong. So here's the example number 1. What makes people do crimes ? No. That would be incorrect. You should say what makes people commit crimes ? That's what we should say. All right. The second one here with the X , again this is wrong. He went to prison for doing a number of crimes. No. You should say he went to prison for committing a number of crimes. That's correct. Okay. And the third one here. Again with the X, this is wrong. Society should do something to prevent people from making crimes. All right. Again you know with the check, this would be correct. Society should do something to prevent people from committing crimes. Okay. So again remember that we commit a crime. We don't do a crime or make a crime. Anyway I hope you got it. I hope it is clear. Thank you for your time. Bye-bye.
