People often confuse the words specially and especially.

大家常常把 specially 和 especially 搞混。

Both of these words are adverbs.

兩者都是副詞。

Especially means 'in particular' or 'most of all.'

especially 指的是「特別是」或者「最重要的是」

For example:

比如說：

I like food, but I especially like sandwiches.

我愛食物，而我尤其愛三明治。

This means that I particularly like sandwiches.

這表示我特別喜歡三明治。

They're my favourite kind of food.

三明治是我最愛的食物種類。

Specially, however, has a different meaning.

而 specially 的意思就不一樣了。

Specially means 'for a particular purpose' or 'in a particular way'.

speacially 指的是「為了某個特定的目的」或「以某種特定的方式」

So, this sandwich was specially made.

所以，這個三明治是特製的。

Dan made a special sandwich just for me.

Dan 為我做了一個特製三明治。
