今天要來教大家跟冬天相關的英文單字！

So we'll be teaching you guys some English vocabulary together.

所以今天我們就要一起教大家英文單字！

Describing the weather according to

根據冷的程度

the degree of coldness

來描述氣象

weather that's cold but stimulating

涼涼冷冷的，但是很振奮身心的那種

mildly cold, causing shivering

有一點點冷，甚至會造成顫抖

cold that is kinda uncomfortable

很冷而且不太舒服，

and goes into your bones

因為會冷到骨子裡那種

when it's so cold that frost are being produced

冷到霜都被製造出來了

frost is a kind of small ice particle

霜是一種微小的冰粒子

and when it's frosty, you might get frostbite

當嚴寒時，你有可能會凍傷

it's kind of a kind of injury

凍傷是一種因為太冷

you get when the weather is too cold

所引起的傷害

Next up we have, snow!

接下來，我們有雪

it's the small, feathery masses that becomes snow

是一種小小的像羽毛般的集合體，很多就會變成雪

In Frozen, the snowman is called Olaf

在冰雪奇緣裡面，雪人叫做 Olaf

And in Game of Thrones Jon Snow, he knows nothing

而在權力遊戲叫做瓊恩雪諾，他什麼都不知道

And what brings a lot of Snow?

那什麼會帶來大量的雪呢？

a storm that brings strong wind and a lot of snow

暴風雪會帶來很強的風以及很多的雪

In a blizzard, you would want to wear a

在暴風雪中，你可能會想要穿上一些

protective gear to avoid getting frostbite

保護配備來避免凍傷

Such as earmuffs 保暖耳罩

像是 earmuffs 保暖耳罩

a pair of coverings to protect you during cold weather

這是一對遮蓋物，能夠在寒冷天氣中保護你

But some people would prefer staying at home

但是有的人寧願待在家裡

And use the fireplace 壁爐 to keep themselves warm

然後使用 fireplace 壁爐，來讓他們保持溫暖

But all the smoke generated by the fireplace

但是用壁爐會產生黑煙

has to go somewhere, right?

這些煙會跑去哪裡呢？

They go through a chimney 煙囪

他們會從 chimney 煙囪出去

a vertical structure that

煙囪是房子裡一個可以

carries out smoke from the house,

使煙排出去的垂直構造

which is also where Santa Claus climbs in

而聖誕老人也是從煙囪爬下來的

And what does Santa Claus ride on?

那聖誕老人的交通工具是什麼呢

a small platform like vehicle to travel through ice and snow

A sled 雪橇，一個像是大平台～的交通工具，可以用它在雪中移動

and it will be pulled by reindeers 麋鹿

而雪橇是由 reindeers 麋鹿拉的

a large kind of deer that has branched horns

麋鹿是一種有著像樹枝般的角的大型鹿

Those are the vocabulary for today
