After nine minutes, I ended up with perfectly cooked and adorable Hello Kitty macaroni that didn't fall apart.

Unfortunately, I didn't have any red pasta sauce, so my Hello Kitty macaroni had to settle

for a not-so-cute off-white chicken and mushroom dish.

Not surprisingly, the macaroni itself tasted similar to other dry pastas. The smaller holes

in the macaroni did a decent job of trapping sauce in them, but parts like Hello Kitty's

head didn't. The Hello Kitty Macaroni didn't make the dish taste better, but it did make

it 100 percent cuter than any pasta that ends with the letter I would.
