We're gonna draw the future.

我們要來畫未來

- The future?

- 未來？

- Yeah. Do you know what the future is?

- 是啊 你知道未來是什麼嗎？

- No.

- 不知道

- Oh I think I know.

- 哦我應該知道吧

Like a couple days back?

像是幾天前？

- Oh no that's the past.

- 哦不是，那是過去

So the future is any time after right now.

從現在這一刻之後的任何時間都是未來

Tomorrow is the future.

明天就是未來

A hundred years from now is the future.

一百年後也是未來

Yesterday, not the future.

昨天，不是未來

- Oh

- 喔

- Are you listening to me at all?

- 你有在聽我說嗎？

- Yeah.

- 有啦

- I'm gonna ask you some questions

- 我會問你一些問題

and then whatever you tell me, then I just draw.

然後無論你告訴我什麼我都會畫下來

You can do whatever, you can go crazy with it.

你要做什麼都可以，瘋狂的也可以

- Okay.

- I think there's going to be like a tube in space

- 我覺得太空會有個管子

where people live there.

- Are there cities and things in there?

- 裡面有城市跟東西嗎？

- Yeah.

- 有

- Trees and plants and stuff? - Yeah.

- 樹和植物之類的？ - 對

- I think everything is gonna be electronic,

- 我覺得所有的東西都會電子化

it's gonna be all computers.

全部都是電腦

- There's only one spaceship

- 只有一個太空船

- Do you think they go to-- - They go to Mars.

- 你認為他們會去... - 他們會去火星

- They go to Mars?

- 他們去火星？

What do they do on Mars? - They find aliens.

他們在火星上做什麼？ - 他們去找外星人

- They find Aliens on Mars?

- 他們在火星上找外星人？

So who rules Earth in the future, then?

那未來是誰統治地球？

- Me.

- 我

- You?

- 你？

- Yes. - Okay.

- 是的 - 好

- I'll be leader.

- 我會當領袖

- And what do you think the aliens look like?

- 你認為那些外星人長什麼樣子？

- Like in that.

- 像那個裡面

- Oh they look like ink, like paint or something?

- 哦他們長得像墨水，像顏料之類的嗎？

They're like blobs, they look like this?

他們像是一團物體，他們像這樣嗎？

(Ernie laughs)

- Attaching to Earth there's like a moving staircase,

- 有個會動的樓梯連接著地球

and it only takes 10 minutes to go from Earth to here.

- The people that don't take very good care of Earth

like goes in that colony,

and the people that take very good care of Earth

stays on Earth to keep it alive.

- Oh okay.

How do you think people will talk in the future?

- They'll be is have a rope, and that all is.

- A rope?

- Yeah.

- How far can that wire go?

- To New York.

- What does everyone speak in the future?

- Alien talk like,

"bee-bo-bop-bop-bope-bope"

- Hello.

- So everybody's voices are a little bit higher

- 所以未來大家的聲音都比較尖是嗎？

in the future, then?

- They can pick their noses with their fingers (mumbles).

- 他們可以用手指挖鼻孔 (含糊不清)

- Oh okay, so there's like one blob picking his nose.

- 哦好啊，有一團物體在挖鼻孔

- They have the car, it's decorated with candy.

- 他們有車子，是用糖果裝飾的

- With candy?

- 用糖果？

And everyone's driving candy cars in the future.

在未來大家都開糖果車

- They're made of candy.

- 他們是用糖果做的

- What do you think the people will wear in the future?

- 你覺得未來人們會穿什麼？

- Boys will be wearing tuxedos

- 男生會穿燕尾服

made out of the fines silk in the universe.

是用全宇宙最好的絲綢做的

- I'm wearing a space suit.

- 我穿太空衣

- A space suit like an astronaut?

- 像太空人的太空衣？

- I look like a cat, a cat face.

- 我長得像貓，貓臉

- And why do you have a cat face?

- 你為什麼會有貓臉？

- I turned into a cat.

- 我變成一隻貓

- So how do you think people will get around in the future?

- 你認為未來人們會如何移動？

- You just push a button on your hand, like "boop,"

- 你只需要按手上的按鍵，像"boop" (音效)

- You push a button on your hand

- and teleportation

- 然後就瞬間移動

just runs off and zap ya

wherever you even think of.

- But where do you think that humans live?

- So like underground, kind of?

- I was also thinking like

buildings were made out of crystals, my name.

建築物是用水晶做的，那是我的名字

- One gigantic chocolate chip

- 一個巨大的巧克力脆片

on top of the house.

- You should make me.

- 你應該畫我

- Just hanging out with the blobs?

- 跟這幾團物體一起嗎？

- Yeah.

- 對啊

- Are you friends with the blobs?

- 你跟這幾團物體是朋友嗎？

(laughing)

- A new planet. It's called Bunny Planet.

- 一個新的星球 它叫兔子星球

- Bunny planet?

- 兔子星球？

- Everything there was made by bunnies.

- 那裡所有的東西都是兔子做的

- Robo-cat.

- 機器貓

- They're just like floating out in space?

- 他們就在太空飄嗎？

- Yeah.

- 是啊

(screech)

- So you think in the future people will travel on unicorns?

- A little baby unicorn.

- A little baby unicorn? - Yes.

- Mint candies for eyes.

- 眼睛是薄荷糖

- Airplane sausage coming.

- 飛機香腸來了

- I'll put a little, what fuels this flying sausage?

- Water.

- That's all their poo.

- Can you draw the future of the button I have?
