Drop and fall both involve things going down, but the difference is who or what is down

Drop和Fall都有“倒”的意思，但是差在 誰或什麼東西倒

Drop means that a thing has gone down Drop是指東西落或掉

Fall means a person is down Fall是指人跌倒

Don't drop the soup, the pan is very hot 小心拿湯，很燙，別讓它倒地

I will drop off the letter at the post office 我會把信送去郵局

Be careful climbing that tree,  you could fall

The baby fell off of her chair 小女生從椅子上掉下來
