Hi,歡迎來到 2min Japan影片 Today we're gonna talk about something a little bit different 今天我要來談談跟之前比較不一樣的東西 We're not going to talk about 我們沒有要講關於 FOOD!!! 食物!! But the subject today is gonna be: Business in Japan 今天我要聊聊:在日本工作 這件事 Many of you guys want to come to Japan to explore the country, discover the history, eat some food!!! 很多人來日本的目的可能是,觀光,古蹟參訪,吃吃美食之類的 But some of you also want to come here to have like a business experience here 但我想一定有人是想要來日本工作的 Working in Japan can be an amazing experience! 在日本工作會是一個超棒的經驗 Or not! 也可能不會 For me one of the best things about working in Japan is of course the diff... 對我來說在日本工作最棒的地方是 For me one of the best things about working in Japan is of course the diff... 對我來說在日本工作最棒的地方是 I CAN'T SAY THIS LINE!!!!!! 我無法好好說這句話!!! One of the best things about working in Japan is the cultural differences compared to more Western-like business culture 在日本工作其中一個好處就是,日本的工作文化與西方完全不同 And what I find interesting is the Japanese expressions you use like almost every day at work that just... 很有趣的就是,你在日本的工作場合天天聽到的東西 ...doesn't translate to English! 沒有辦法準確的翻譯成英文! Today I picked up 3 of my favorite Japanese expressions 今天我選了3個我喜歡的日本獨特的用語 The first sentence is "Otsukaresama desu" 第一個是「お疲れ様です (otsukaresama desu)」 This phrase actually has a looot of different meanings like: 這句其實有超~~~多意思,像是 "Thanks for your hard work", "cheers!" 「辛苦你了」或是「乾杯」! You will hear it all the time 總之,你會很常聽到 When you walk by a colleague in the hallway.. 在走廊跟同事擦身而過的時候 You say it! 就會說! When you enter the office 到公司的時候 You say it! 也會說! When you leave the office 當你下班的時候 You say it! 也會說! On the other hand in western countries its more casual like: 如果是西方的話應該會比較隨性吧,像是 Hi! Hi! Or "hey!" 或是"hey!" Or "Good Morning!" 或是"Good Morning!" The second phrase you will hear every day is Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu 我想介紹的第二個句子是,你每天都會聽到的「よろしくお願いします(Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu)」 This sentence is also like...it means.... 這個的意思是.... "I trust that you...eerrr....." 「我相信你...」 "Please treat me well... no" 「請好好對待我...不對」 It's kind of the equivalent of "I look forward to working with you" 有點像是「我非常期待能夠與您工作」 Although in English we don't use it as much as we use "Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu" in Japanese 但是在西方文化我們不會像日本用的那麼頻繁 I don't know, you say it like once in a meeting or in a mail, in Japan it's like... 你會在會議或郵件裡面說個那麼一次,但是在日本就很像 ...every freakin' second! 每分每秒都在說! The third and last one is "Osewa ni natteorimasu" 最後一個是「お世話になります (Osewa ni natteorimasu)」 This one you use at the beginning of every phone conversation or at the beginning of a mail with a client 這在日本會常用在跟客戶的電話或是郵件的開頭中 The meaning is "Thank you for taking care of me" 如果直翻成英文的話意思就是「謝謝你照顧我」 which in English would sound a little creepy 用英文聽起來會有那麼點詭異 Hello? Hello? Thank you for taking care of me..... 謝謝你照顧我..... So that was like my 3 favorite expressions you use everyday in a Japanese office 以上就是每天都能在日本公司聽到的3個我喜歡的用語 I'm probably gonna make 1 or 2 more videos about working in Japan so 我之後應該還會做1到2個這類的影片吧 if you have any questions please post them in the comments! 如果有什麼問題歡迎寫在下面 As for my Japanese viewers who want to do business abroad, there's a really cool website 至於有在看這個頻道想去國外工作的日本人,我知道一個非常好的網站 called VoiceTube where you can practice Business level English 叫做VoiceTube,你也可以在這邊學到商用英文喔 Go check it out! 快去看看吧! And i'll see you soon for another 2min Japan video! 那麼我們在下一次的2min Japan影片見吧! Next one we'll be food! 下一個影片會是跟食物相關的! I swear! 我發誓! I SWEAR!!!!!!! 我發誓!!!!
