Well Cassie, this is for you and all of the other teenagers out there who share clothes. There are five simple steps for borrowing things that will get you out of the woods and they will never again call you a thief. Rule number 1: Ask face to face, may I please borrow your whatever it is, your shirt and if they say yes, then move on to Rule number 2: When would you like me to return it? And then agree on a time. Rule number 3: How would you like me to return it? Do you want me to wash it, you want me to fold it, you want me to hang it up? Want me to leave it on your bed so you can wash it with your clothes? Agree on how and then number 4: Return it when you you said you were going to return it, and how you said you're going to return it. Then number 5: is return it in the condition in which you received it. That means if you rip, tear, shred, burn whatever...it, you gotta replace it. So you have to return it in as good, or better, condition than which you borrowed it in. And if you follow those simple steps you will never again have a problem for borrowing. And if you follow those five steps, it's a good idea. It's a good idea.
