There was once a Mother Pig who had three baby pigs.

曾經有一位豬媽媽，她有三個豬寶寶。

They grew up and got bigger

until the Mother Pig had to say,

"You are too big to live here.

"You need to go and build houses for yourselves.

"There's a wolf out there,

The little pigs set off,

telling their mother,

While they were walking,

they came upon a man who was carrying some straw.

"May I please have some straw?"

asked the first little pig.

"I want to build myself a house."

"Of course," said the man,

and he gave the pig the straw.

The first little pig took it and made himself a nice home.

The other two little pigs kept walking down the road.

另外兩隻小豬一直走在路上。

They came across a man who was carrying some sticks.

他們遇到了一個拿著一些棍子的人。

"Could I please have some sticks?"

"能不能給我一些棍子？"

asked the second little pig.

二小豬問道。

"I want to build a house."

"我想蓋房子。"

The man said, "Sure,"

那人說："當然"。

and he gave the little pig some of his sticks.

他給了小豬一些他的棍子。

Then the second little pig went on

然後，第二隻小豬繼續

and built himself a house.

並給自己建了一座房子。

It was stronger than the house of straw

它比稻草屋還堅固

and the second little pig was excited.

而第二隻小豬也很興奮。

The third little pig kept walking all by himself.

第三隻小豬一直自己走。

It took a while, but he met a man carrying some bricks.

過了好一會兒，他才遇到一個搬磚的人。

"Please, could I have some bricks?"

"請問，能給我一些磚頭嗎？"

asked the third little pig.

第三隻小豬問道。

"I want to build a strong house."

"我想建立一個強大的房子。"

"Yes," said the man,

and he shared some of his bricks with the third little pig.

他還把自己的磚頭分給了第三隻小豬。

The little pig built his brick house,

小豬建起了他的磚房。

happy that it was so strong,

高興的是，它是如此強大。

even if it took a lot longer to build.

The next day, the wolf came down the road.

He saw the house of straw that the first little pig built

and went right up and knocked on the door.

He said, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in."

"No!" said the pig.

"Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin."

"Then I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"

"那我就呼哧呼哧的把你的房子炸了！"

said the wolf.

狼說。

And he huffed and he puffed

他抽抽搭搭地說著話

and he blew the straw house right over.

他把稻草屋吹得一塌糊塗。

The pig had to run as fast as his legs would carry him

豬必須跑得越快越好，因為它的腿能帶它走

to the second little pig's stick home.

到二小豬的棍子家。

The next day, the wolf walked farther down the road.

第二天，狼在路上走得更遠了。

He came upon the stick house.

他來到了棒子屋。

He knocked on the door and said,

他敲了敲門，說。

"Little pig, little pig, let me come in."

"小豬，小豬，讓我進來。"

"No!" said the second little pig.

"不！"二小豬說。

"Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin."

The two little pigs had to run as fast

as their legs would carry them

to the third little pig's brick home.

The next day, the big, bad wolf walked even farther

第二天，那隻大壞狼走得更遠了

down the road.

He saw the third little pig's strong brick house

他看到了第三隻小豬的堅固磚房

and he walked up to the door and said,

他走到門口說。

"Little pig, little pig, let me come in!"

"小豬，小豬，讓我進來！"

"Not by the hair on my chinny-chin-chin,"

"不是靠我的下巴下巴上的頭髮，"

said the pig.

豬說。

"Then I'll huff and I'll puff, and I'll blow your house in!"

"那我就呼哧呼哧的，把你的房子炸了！"

And he huffed

他還抽了一口氣

and he puffed

他喘著粗氣

and he huffed

他抽泣著說

and he puffed,

他就撲哧一笑。

but he could not blow that house down.

但他不能把那座房子吹倒。

So the big, bad wolf started climbing up

於是，那隻大壞狼開始爬起來

the side of the house.

房子的一側。

"Little pigs, little pigs, I'm coming in!"

"小豬，小豬，我進來了！"

he growled.

他咆哮道。

The pigs were terrified.

豬們都嚇壞了。

What were they going to do?

他們要做什麼？

The third little pig did the first thing he could think of.

第三隻小豬做了他能想到的第一件事。

He lit a fire in his fireplace

他在他的壁爐裡點了一把火

and pushed his biggest pot over it.

並將自己最大的鍋推了過去。

Down, down, down, the chimney the wolf climbed until...

下去，下去，下去，狼爬上了煙囪，直到... ...

Yeeeoww!

Yeeeoww!

The big, bad wolf scalded his rear on the hot pot

大壞狼在火鍋上燙了一下屁股

and scrambled back up the chimney,

並爭先恐後地從煙囪裡爬了出來。

down the street,

在街上。

and never bothered the three little pigs again.

並再也沒有去打擾那三隻小豬。
