First of all, tell me about your hair.

Hum... brown , long. I guess a little bit passed my shoulders.

Your jaw?

My mom always told me I had a big jaw.

Yeah, they are brown eyebrows, dark brown eyebrows.

I didn't know what he was doing but then I could tell after several questions that he was drawing me.

一開始不清楚他要幹嘛，問了幾個問題後，我猜得出來他是在畫我

Tell me about your chin.

說說看妳的下巴

I guess I never really compared to anyone else's chin but, especially when like, I smile I just feel like it protrudes a little bit.

我不清楚別人的下巴長怎樣，不過我微笑時會有點前凸

What would be your most prominent feature?

妳最明顯的面部特色是?

I kind of have a fat rounder face.

有點圓潤的臉

The older I've gotten the more freckles I've gotten.

雀斑隨著我年紀增生

We sort of realized: Oh, man, now I have to talk about myself and think about my looks.

有點恍悟到說，天啊!此時的我竟然要聊聊自己、想想自己的長相

I'm forty, so I'm starting to get a little bit of the crows feet thing going on.

我已經四十多歲，魚尾紋也開始出現了

Once I get their sketch, I say "thank you very much "and then they leave. I don't see them.

I still didn't know. All I have been told before the sketch was to get friendly with this other woman, Chloe.

Today I'm gonna ask you some questions about the person you met earlier,

She was thin, so you could see her cheek bones.

And her chin was a nice thin chin.

The women were really critical about moles or scars or things like that.

And yet they were describing just a normal beautiful person.

She had nice eyes. They light up when she spoke and were very expressive.

The length of the nose, what is that like?

Her face was fairly thin.

She had blue eyes, very nice blue eyes.

I have this whole thing about having dark circles and crows feet around my eyes

and that was not part of the sketch at all, that the stranger did.

The stranger was a little more like, gentle.

她比較好心

It's pretty different..

It's just very strange....

好不習慣

She looks closed off and fatter.

她看起來很內向、胖了點

She just looks kind of shut down, sadder too.

The second one it's more beautiful.

Do you think they are catching more from you?

妳覺得她們看到妳沒看見的地方？

Yeah... yeah.

She looks more open and friendly and happy.

她看起來就開朗些、友善些快樂的樣子

I've come a long way in how I see myself, but I think I still have some way to go.

一直以來我都只用同樣的角度看自己，看來還有另一個我沒被我發現唷!

I have some work to do in myself.

Chloe's perception was so, so clearly different.

克羅伊的觀感與我完全不一樣

Her picture looked like somebody I thought I would want to talk to and be friends with, like a happy, light, much younger, much brighter person.

這個她看來是我想聊天，交友的對象，樂觀隨和、年輕許多，蠻正向的一個人

It's troubling. I should be more grateful of my natural beauty.

這令人困擾，我應該要多珍惜我的自然美

It impacts the choices and the friends that we make, the jobs we apply for, how we treat our children... It impacts everything.

這左右我們的抉擇，交的朋友，找的工作，如何管教小孩，所有一切

It couldn't be more critical to your happiness.

這對我們快不快樂很重要

Our self perceptions are generally kind of harsh

我們總是對自己很嚴格

and unbecoming when really that's not how the world sees us.

但這不是世界所看到的

We spend a lot of time as women, analyzing and trying to fix the things that aren't quite right

身為女人，我們總是花太多心力在不對的事情上

and we should spend more time appreciating the things that we do like.
