(那時門徒進城買食物去了) Therefore the Samaritan woman said to Him, 撒瑪利亞的婦人對他說:「 'How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me for a drink 你既是猶太人 怎麼向我一個撒瑪利亞婦人 since I am a Samaritan woman?' For Jews have no dealings with 要水喝呢?」 Jesus answered and said to her, 'If you knew the gift of God, 耶穌回答說: 「 你若知道神的恩賜 and who it is who says to you, "Give Me a drink," 和對你說: 『給我水喝。』 的是誰 you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.' 」 She said to Him, 'Sir, You have nothing to draw with 婦人說: 「 先生 沒有打水的器具 and the well is deep; where then do You get that living water? You are not greater than our father Jacob, are You, who gave 我們的祖宗雅各將這井留給我們 他自己和兒子並牲畜 us the well, and drank of it himself and his sons and his 也都喝這井裡的水 難道你比他還大嗎 ? 」 cattle?' Jesus answered and said to her, 耶穌回答說 'Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; :「凡喝這水的還要再渴 but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never 人若喝我所賜的水就永遠不渴 thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him 我所賜的水要在他裡頭成為泉源 a well of water springing up into eternal life.' The woman said to Him, 'Sir, give me this water, 婦人說:「先生 請把這水賜給我 叫我不渴 so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw.'" 也不用來這麼遠打水。」 This is one of the most beautiful stories in the Bible 這是聖經裡其中一個很美的故事 of people who are hopeless and helpless, 是關於一個絕望且無助的人 看似也沒有 don't have anywhere 任何轉機了 to turn. There's nothing good about it. 沒有一點好的 And I want you to look at this woman for a moment and see what 我希望你來看一下這個女人 hopelessness is all about; and what can happen in a person's 看看究竟什麼是絕望 還有絕望是如何 life when they become hopeless. 影響一個人的人生 Sometimes people are hopeless because of what they've done. 有時候 這樣的絕望是來自於一個人的作為 Because the way they've lived; because 或是他們是怎麼樣在過生活 decisions that they've made. 他們曾做過的決定 And then sometimes it's not always that person's fault. 但有時候 並不總是那人的錯 And so, when I think about this woman, I want to give you a 所以當我們來思想關於這個女人的信息時 我想給你一些 little description of her. 有關她的描述 Number one, she'd been married five times; and 第一點 她曾結過五次婚 而且在那個時間點 she was living in an adulterous situation, immoral situation with a man she 她正與一個男人生活在一個 was living with at that particular time. 不貞 不道德的處境中 And, of course, having been married five times, 因著那五次婚姻 she had suffered a lot of difficulty and hardship with these first five 想必她也在那五個男人的身上吃了不少苦 men or they would have still been there. 否則她應該還會在他們身旁 She must have been a pretty good-looking gal to have 再者 想來她的容貌必然十分姣好 attracted five men. 所以才會吸引了五個男人 And so there she was. 這就是她 And one of the problems though is that she'd endured terrible 其中一個問題是 她被當時的社會 rejection from the community. 所嚴重的拒絕 To have been married five times in a small community, she was 在那樣一個小的社區結婚五次 the talk of the community. 她會成為人們閒談的對象 There was nothing they could say good about her. 他們也不會說她什麼好話 What kind of woman is this who has been married five times and 是什麼樣的一個女人 才會結婚五次 divorced and now she decided just to live with this guy and 又離婚 而現在她又與一個男人一起生活 not even be married to him. 並且他們也沒有結婚 And so she seems to have been trapped by this insatiable 她與這些男人在兩性方面的需求沒有被滿足 sexual desire to have her needs met or to 而她也困在這樣不滿足的 meet somebody else's needs. 感覺中 She was emotionally empty. 她在情感上是空虛的 To be married five times, nothing works emotionally. 那五次的婚姻在她情感上沒有帶來任何幫助 So she was empty; and seemingly failed to meet the needs of 所以她是空虛的 她的這些愛人們 these lovers of hers. 也沒有辦法滿足她的需求 And so she felt very morally dirty. 在道德方面 她感到自己很骯髒 You ever felt that-a-way? 你也曾有這樣的感受嗎 Am I talking to somebody who feels morally dirty? 我正在跟一個在道德上感到自己是骯髒的人說話嗎 That because of decisions that you've made in your life, you 那是因為你生命中所做過的決定 feel dirty spiritually. 你在靈裡感到骯髒 You feel dirty emotionally. 情感上你也感到骯髒 You could be in a situation just as badly as she was. 你可能正處在跟她一樣糟糕的處境中 You've tried it all and nothing worked. 你試過了所有 但沒有一樣帶來幫助 You've been there and it didn't make any difference. 它沒有帶來任何的改變 You've been loved by this one and loved by that one and hated 你被這個人所愛 被那個人所愛 by this one and hated by the other, and used by all of them, 被這個人所恨 被他人所恨 而且你習以為常了 and nothing satisfied you. 沒有一樣能滿足你 You don't have anywhere to go. 你沒有任何出路了 All of your goals and dreams have been shattered; and the 所有你的目標或夢想都破滅了 truth is, you don't have anything to hope for. 事實上 你對任何事都不抱希望了 At this point in your life, your sinfulness, your disobedience or 在你人生的這個節骨眼上 你充滿了罪惡 你的不順服 your rebellion, you turned off God a long time ago. 你的悖逆 你從很久以前就轉離了神 So where are you in life? 你的人生是處在哪個景況呢? You're lost. 你迷失了 It's dark, dingy, dismal; and there you are. 你在一個很黑暗 很陰沈的地方 It's like being in a swamp emotionally. 這就好像陷在一個情緒的沼澤中 There's nothing there that is attractive to you. 沒有一件事物能吸引你 And so you've sort of given up. 你在某種程度上算是放棄了 But given up to what? 你放棄了什麼呢? Given up, why? 為什麼放棄呢? And given up when. 什麼時候放棄了? Those are the things you have to think about. 那些都是你要去思考的問題 And I think there are many women today and men who have no hope. 現今有很多的男人女人感到沒有希望 This is the reason some people commit crime. 這就是有些人犯罪的理由 They can't see any hope of doing anything. 他們在做任何事情的時候都看不到希望 At least in prison you could have friends. 至少你在監獄裡還有朋友 At least in prison, you've got 至少在監獄裡 three meals a day and a place to eat and you can even watch TV. 你一天有三餐 你有地方可以用餐 甚至可以看電視 There are a lot of people who are very, very hopeless. 有很多人是感到非常非常絕望的 And we're living in a time when more people are hopeless. 我們正生活在一個越來越多人感到絕望的年代 And this is why they cross borders. 這是為什麼他們願意跨越邊境 This is why they do anything 這也是為什麼他們願意做任何事 to find a little hope and a little help. 只為了得到一點點的希望與幫助 And yet even that doesn't work. 然而 即使這樣做也沒有功效 And so this is where she was at this point. 這就是她當時所處在的狀態 And then a personal encounter with Jesus Christ 而當一個人遇到耶穌基督時 radically changed her life. 完完全全的改變了她的人生 And it's radically changing people's lives today. 在今日也是如此 祂會完全改變你的一生 And so when you think about who she was and what was going on in 當我們來思索 她是怎麼樣的一個女人 在那個時間點 her life at this particular point, she's coming to the well 她的人生過得如何 她來到井邊 to draw water for the day, but she's coming at noontime, which 為了那天打水 而且是在正中午的時候 was not the right time. 並不是正確的時間 But she came at noontime because the women didn't want to be 她在中午來到井邊 因為她不想要她的身邊 around her, they ostracized her, and it just made her feel worse 他們排斥她 那只會讓她感到更糟 to try to be there when everybody else was there. 當所有人都在那裏 So in the middle of the day, here she comes for water. 所以在正中午 她為了水來到這裏 And strangely, this man is sitting there. 很奇怪的是 這個男人就坐在那邊 He sent His disciples into town to buy food. 祂讓祂的門徒進城去買食物 And looking at Him and knowing that He was a Jew and she was a 她看了祂 知道祂是猶太人 而她 Samaritan, she was shocked when He said, 是一個撒馬利亞人 她震驚于祂會對她說出 Give me a drink of water. :「給我水喝。」這句話 And her response was, What do You mean, 她的回應是:「祢是指什麼呢? give You a drink of water? 給祢喝的水嗎? You're a Jew; I'm a Samaritan. 祢是猶太人 我是撒馬利亞人 Jews and Samaritans do not have anything to do with each other. 猶太人是不與撒馬利亞人來往的 And You certainly wouldn't expect me to draw 祢當然也不會期望我 Your water for You. 為祢打水吧?」 And Jesus in His quiet and loving way, 耶穌以一種平靜、帶著愛的方式 began a conversation with her. 與她開始了對話 And, all of a sudden, she realized that the barriers were 就在剎那間 她感到她內在的防線 coming down within her; because the barrier was there. 降下來了 那道防線本來是在那裏的 First of all, she was talking to a man alone. 首先 她正單獨跟一個男人說話 That in itself was enough. The fact that He was a Jew and she was a Samaritan, all of 那就已經足夠她升起防線了 以及祂是猶太人而她是撒馬利亞人的事實 those barriers were coming down. 這些防線都降下來了 She couldn't tell you why. 她說不出為什麼 She just knew that there was something about Him that 她只知道祂有些什麼特質是 attracted her that had nothing to do with what usually 吸引著她 而這跟平常那些吸引著她的是不同的 attracted her, something physical. 那些屬肉體的 And she began to listen. 她開始聆聽 And, "Jesus said to her, 'Give Me a drink,'" that's what 耶穌對她說:「給我水喝。」 started the conversation. 對話就這樣開始了 And, He said to her, He said, You give me a drink and I'll 祂對她說:「妳給我水喝,而我會 give you a drink of living water. 給妳永活的水。」 And so, Jesus began to talk with her and they began to chat and 於是 耶穌開始跟她說話 他們展開了一場對話 so Jesus distinguished between this well water and the other 耶穌分別出井水與 water that He was talking about. 祂所說到的水的不同 And so she enthusiastically asked Him for it. 因此她充滿熱情的向祂要求那生命的活水 And so, when He had described it, she, "The woman said to Him, “婦人說“ 'Sir,'" listen to that, she--how she addressed Him, "Sir, give me 聽聽看這裏 她是怎麼跟祂說話 “:「先生 this water, I will not be thirsty nor come all the way 請把這水賜給我 叫我不渴 也不用來 here again." 這麼遠打水。」“ And then, “Jesus said to her," That sort of disrupted the 然後 “耶穌說” 這有一點打斷了 conversation because everything was moving right along and He 對話 因為所有事都好像在順著發展 was talking about living water and then all of a sudden He, 祂正說到永活的水 突然間祂 "said, 'Call your husband,'" oh my, messed the conversation up “耶穌說:「你去叫你丈夫也到這裡來。」” 我的天 完全 terrible. 弄亂了這個對話 And so, "Call your husband," and she told Him the truth. “你去叫你丈夫也到這裡來” 她跟祂說事實 She said, I don't have a husband. “婦人說:「我沒有丈夫。」” He said, watch this, You're correct; you don't. ”耶穌說“ 注意看 “你說沒有丈夫是不錯的 But you have had five. 你已經有五個丈夫 And you're living with a man now who is not your husband. 你現在有的並不是你的丈夫“ But watch how He said that. 看看祂是如何說這件事的 He did not condemn her. 祂並沒有責備她 He said, You're right; you don't have one, but you're living with 祂說:「你說沒有丈夫是不錯的 你現在有的 one who is not your husband. 並不是你的丈夫 。」 Notice how Jesus changed that conversation. 注意到耶穌如何改變這個對話 Not by criticizing her, but by asking her a question. 不是去批評她 而是簡單地問她一個問題 And so what He's doing, He's leading her to realize where she 而祂是在做什麼呢 祂是在讓她瞭解到 is emotionally, where she is physically, where she is 她在情感上是怎麼樣 她在肉體上是怎麼樣 spiritually. 她在靈裡上是怎麼樣 Now, what she did is what a lot of people do today. 接著 她做了今日很多人也會做的事 When you start talking to them about the Lord, all of a sudden 當你開始跟他們談到耶和華神 突然 they want to change the subject. 他們就會想要改變話題 So if you'll notice what happens when she said that, "The woman 如果你注意到發生了什麼 “婦人說 said, 'Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.'" :「先生我看出你是先知 。」“ And then she said, "Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and 接著她說“:「我們的祖宗在這山上禮拜 you people say that," and she changed the subject. 你們倒說」“ 她改變了話題 She wanted to start talking about worship; Jesus didn't want 她想要談論敬拜 to talk about that. 但耶穌並不想 He did give her a little explanation here and there, but 祂是給了她一點說明 He said, I want to tell you about My water. 接著祂說 我想跟妳說的是我的水 My water is, He said, My water is living water. 我所賜的水 祂說 我所賜的水是永活的水 And she said--He said here, "Whoever drinks of the water 祂說 “人若喝 that I will give him shall never thirst again; but the water that 我所賜的水就永遠不渴 I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up 我所賜的水要在他裡頭成為泉源 in eternal life. 直湧到永生 Springing up into eternal life. 直湧到永生。」 'Sir, give me this water,' Springing up," listen, Not just 婦人說:「先生 請把這水賜給我“ water, but springing, this water springs up into eternal life. 直湧到永生 And He had her attention, absolutely. 祂當然吸引了她的注意 And as they began to talk and He said to her, as they began to 當他們開始談到神時 祂跟她說 talk God, "God is spirit, and those who worship Him must :「神是個靈 所以拜他的 worship Him in spirit and truth." 必須用心靈和誠實拜他 。」 And, and so then He comes back, "The woman said to Him, 'I know 祂回到了這個話題 “婦人說 that Messiah is coming, He who is called Christ; when that One :「我知道彌賽亞(就是那稱為基督的)要來; comes, He will declare all things to me,'" and then, "Jesus 他來了,必將一切的事都告訴我們。」 耶穌說 said to her, 'I,'" am the one you're looking for. :「我」“ 就是妳正在找的那一位 I am the Messiah. 我就是彌賽亞 Can you imagine what she must have thought? 你可以想像她是怎麼想的嗎? First of all, she wanted to--she approached this man to hate Him 一開始 她走近祂 且因為 because He was a Jew. 祂是猶太人而恨惡祂 And in this conversation, because He accepted her and 而在這個對話中 祂接受了她 loved her and waited for her to come to the right conclusion, 愛她 並且等待她自己得到對的結論 "He said to her, 'I who speak to you am He.'" “耶穌說:「這和你說話的就是他!」” And about this time the disciples come. 差不多就在這時候 門徒回來了 And they come back and they're surprised because He's talking 並且很稀奇耶穌 to this woman, and which no rabbi as we say would possibly 和一個婦人說話 沒有一個拉比會跟 be talking to one, and especially her. 一個撒馬利亞人說話 尤其是她 Of all people, they--He wouldn't be talking to her. 在所有人中 祂最不可能跟她交談 But it's interesting what the scripture says that they didn't 但是很有趣的是 經文這裏說 say to Him, What are You doing talking to her? 他們沒有跟耶穌說:「祢是要什麼?」 Or why do You speak to this woman? 或者說:「祢為什麼和她說話?」 So in the process, the scripture says all of a sudden she, "left 接著 經文說 她很快地 her waterpot." “留下水罐子“ Now the Bible is so perfect about the words that the writer 這邊很有趣 作者用這樣的話描述 used because it's interesting here, the scripture says she 經文說 她留下了它 left it. 這使得聖經很完美 She was no longer interested in a waterpot. 她不再對打水的器具感到興趣 He had done something to her life all of a sudden like she 祂在瞬間對她的生命做了些事情 had never felt before because why would she accept Him so 而這是她從沒感受過的 因此 她很快 quickly. 就接受了祂 She accepted Him so quickly because when He approached her, 她是如此快的接受祂 因為祂接近她 He didn't condemn her. 而且沒有責備她 A Jew would have. 猶太人就會 He did not criticize her. 祂並沒有批評她 He saw something within her that made her see something within 祂看到她的內在 而這也讓她看到 Him. 祂的內在 For some strange reason she felt accepted by Him. 因為某些不可思議的理由她感覺到被祂所接受 For some strange reason, she saw something in Him that she'd 因為某些不可思議的理由 她看到了在祂裡面 never seen in a man before. 有一些不一樣的地方是她在人身上從沒看過的 All of a sudden she felt love for the first time from any man. 就在那一瞬間 她第一次感受到愛 And so, when His disciples came, she left that waterpot and took 所以 當耶穌的門徒回來後 她留下打水的器具 off running. 並且跑走了 And where did she go? 而她去了哪裏呢 She went to the one place that you wouldn't expect her to go. 她去了一個你猜不到的地方 She went to the very people who despised her, rejected her, 她去到那群藐視他 拒絕她 criticized her, shunned her, shut her out of their lives. 批評她 避開她 並且要她離開他們的生活的人中間 And notice what the scripture says. 注意到這裏經文說 "From the city many of the Samaritans believed in Him “那城裡有好些撒瑪利亞人信了耶穌 because of the word of the woman who testified, 'He told me all 因為那婦人作見證說:「他將我素來所行的 things that I have done.' So when the Samaritans came to 一切事都給我說出來了。」於是撒瑪利亞人來見耶穌 Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and so He stayed 求他在他們那裡住下 他便在那裡 there two days. 住了兩天 Many more believed because of His word; and they were saying 因耶穌的話 信的人就更多了 便對婦人說 to the woman, 'It is no longer because of what you said that we :「現在我們信 不是因為你的話 believe, for we have heard our for ourselves and know that this 是我們親自聽見了 One is indeed the Savior of the world.'" 知道這真是救世主。」“ When I think about this woman--she became the city 當我想到這個女人 evangelist. 她變成了這個城市中報好消息的人 I mean she went from the lowest rung to the highest. 我是說 她從最低的階級升到了最高 She was the one who announced to them the Messiah. 她是那位對他們宣稱誰是彌賽亞的 She's the first one who knew of Him. 她是第一位認識祂的 And so when she went back, you say, Well, you know, if they had 所以當她回來時 你會想說 rejected her like you say they have, how could she be so 如果他們就像你說的 她們會拒絕她 accepted? 她怎麼會如此被接受呢 I'll tell you why. 我來告訴你為什麼 Because they'd seen this woman who was full of hopelessness and 因為他們曾看過這個女人曾是那麼的絕望 despair and discouragement and just dismal in her spirit. 喪失信心 氣餒 而且在靈裡是黑暗的 When she came to the city, that's not what they saw. 當她跑回城裡時 他們看到的卻不是那樣 She was excited. 她很興奮 And she was full of life. 充滿了生氣 And she walked in like she was the queen, not like she was 她就好像女王那樣走來 rejected. 而不是像是被拒絕的人 Why? 為什麼呢? Because God had absolutely changed her life. 因為神完全改變了她的生命 Jesus had saved her when she said, and realized that He was 耶穌救了她 就在她說 她承認 the Messiah, she accepted Him as the Messiah and, listen, She 祂是彌賽亞的時候 她接受了祂是彌賽亞 聽到這邊 didn't go home. 她並沒有回家 She did what she should have done. 她做了她該做的 She was so absolutely revolutionized in her life that 她完全被啟示了 the first thing she wanted to do is to go tell everybody in town. 以致她第一件想做的事就是告訴城裏的每一個人 I mean, all those women who had gossiped about her; all those 我是指 那些講她八卦的女人 men who had used her; everybody who had abused her in any way, 那些曾經利用她的男人 任何曾以各種方式苦待她的人 what did she do? 她做了什麼? She, she wanted them to know this Messiah that had absolutely 她想要他們知道那位改變她一生的彌賽亞 changed her life and she could never be the same again. 而且她再也不可能跟過去一樣了 Are you one of those persons who's feeling hopeless? 你是那感到絕望的人嗎?
