when you heard about this being something that was a success?

People watch us playing video games

because they don't have the game, right?

So it's like, it's living vicariously through another person.

I mean, why do you watch the Food Network?

You watch it to look at the delicious food.

The way that they're commenting on the food,

describing the food, they must be good.

Like a gamer, you can't just be playing games.

You have to be able to talk about it

while you have to be fun to listen to. You have to be funny.

(Finebros) Here's some reason people have said this works.

Some say it's a feeling that, when you are on a diet

and you really wish you could eat this food,

you watch someone else eat it instead.

Sounds like torture.

Yeah, I feel like that would make me want to eat more.

I honestly, I get it.

Here I am on my diet,

and I appreciate you eating that noodle dish,

but am I really gonna pay money to send you a balloon

so that I could voyeuristically enjoy that food? No. No.

a rising demographic are adults who live alone

and the element of not wanting to eat dinner by yourself.

feels like they're not having dinner by themselves.
