Jörg and I chose a tiny and charming English cottage in the beautiful Cotswolds for a weekend getaway.

So you step right into the cosy sitting room and of course we had to make a fire and use the wood burner.

This cottage was built around 1750 and the moment you enter it you feel like in the film

The sitting room fits a sofa for two.

It's such a cosy space, I absolutely love it.

And there's wonderful artwork in here as well.

For example this is my favourite painting, I wish we could buy it, it's so beautiful.

And the wall colour is from Little Green, I thought I would share that.

It's called Portland Stone.

It's really great for smaller spaces and it's more neutral but the funny thing is it changes its tone depending on the light.

Sometimes it's more brown than grey, sometimes even green.

I always love the window seats in these old cottages.

There's something really unique here in the kitchen.

These two panels are supposedly from the Cutty Sark, the famous clipper ship from the 19th century that was built exclusively for the China tea trade.

It's actually quite spacious, very big and comfy bed and the unique thing in here is the headboard because this is an original champagne riddling rack and its purpose is to hold bottles of wine during the process of making sparkling wine so yeah, that's really interesting.

Shabby chic furniture and this colour, this deep blue is little green, navy blue.

So there's actually plenty of space, I was surprised by this to be honest.

I love this chest of drawers with the gorgeous mirror and the entire cottage has this um, heavy linen fabric that I really like.

It's simple but it suits a cottage like this so so much.

Now comes my favourite room in Artists Studio.

We have the most beautiful little patio or courtyard, it's so romantic, I think it is.

And we have glorious sunshine so we can sit outside later to enjoy a cup of tea.
