One day, my family and I were in a church parking lot.
We were driving around on a go-kart and a mini-cycle and just having fun.
But then, two police cars showed up.
They told us that the nearby neighbors had called them complaining about some, quote, drunk delinquents defacing church property.
But the officers quickly realized that the situation had been blown out of proportion.
They were super chill about it, and even though it wasn't against the law, we told them that we would leave to diffuse the situation.
Thanks for being so reasonable, some folks are just a bit uptight about things.
The person who called made it sound like you were going forty while under the influence, which you obviously aren't.
And I cracked a joke saying, I'm under the influence of silliness.
They didn't laugh.
Apparently being a silly goose is a punishable offense.
