kawagoe is very famous for its sweet potato treats

around town you can find shops  selling various types of sweet potato desserts

one of the most famous ones is called Koeda Osatsu

this store is selling potato chips on the tower bell street

their long and thin potato chips  rose to fame shortly after its opening

We then moved on to the Kashiya Yokocho,also known as candy alley
