It is Wednesday afternoon and when I left my house the temperature was 66 degrees.

And I think we are the about an hour and 15 minutes away and so far it's still super sunny and warm on this side because we're not up in the mountains yet.

And so we is unless you can see her, she's sleeping just taking a nap when we are taking the background to Big Bear instead of the main way to get in.

And it was a little bit tricky finding it on google maps.

Uh, kept wanting to out us the normal way and I couldn't get it to do the back way.

So I went on apple maps and Apple maps actually gave direct three different directions and I had the one that I wanted where it goes up to 15, you go through Apple Valley and then eventually you take the 18 and then it gets you into the back entrance at Big Bear.

So we made it into a big bear city and I'm about five minutes away from the Airbnb.

Well actually it's more like afternoon, it's almost noon And we're now heading out to the visitor center to pick up an adventure parks.

It's not about 10:15 minutes and I still can't figure out where this trail starts.

Looking like there's 16 points to him, but I don't see any because it's an interpretive trail, but I don't see any markers anywhere.

This is probably the weirdest hike I've ever been on where there's no explanation of where it starts, so we may just kind of like hang around for a little bit and then go somewhere else because we can't quite figure out this hike.

So now we're heading off to Hugo crest trail, which is about four minutes away from this trail, the trail that we're just to add and this one is a really long trail.

I think it's like almost six miles.

So we spent, I want to say at least an hour just sledding.

We have the entire place to ourselves I think probably because it is a little icy so if you're not careful I guess it could be kind of dangerous.

And so now we're gonna check out the lake, heard it's a really beautiful walk there and they have paved trails, It's not quite a few people there when we drove by earlier, so we're just gonna go and check it out.

So we went to two different trails, the Woodland Hill trail and the cougar crest trail could crest trail is I think I enjoyed that one the most just because we were able to find a really good spot to go study and then afterwards we went to the link and just walked across uh or walked along the lake a little bit.

I think there is plenty to do in Big bear with your dog.

There's a lot of dog friendly things to do and all of the trails there are dog friendly and if you I want to go there just to you know do heights and spend time with your dog, there's plenty to do there, even if you're not someone that wants to go there for ski or snowboarding.

And I wish I had one more day to explore a little bit more of the other trails and big man.
