  • >> I would say something I'm thankful for is

  • the compassion that I see in the community of Davis.

  • >> Definitely my family.

  • >> Hm, I'm thankful for just my opportunity to go to Davis.

  • >> There's lots of people here that are fighting for children that don't have

  • homes or for other communities, and Davis is an epicenter of that.

  • >> Definitely they've been my family,

  • like, they're so supportive through everything, through

  • school, through, you know, personal whatever, like

  • you name it, they're just so supportive.

  • Like my dad just called me in the middle of class,

  • and I thought, you know, hey, maybe it was a butt dial.

  • He's like no, I just wanted to say hi.

  • >> Neither of my parents went to college.

  • So I'm really thankful that my grandparents gave me like some

  • money, and that, so that I was able to attend college.

  • Also I didn't like any of the colleges in my home state.

  • I'm actually out of state.

  • And so I'm thankful that I was accepted into Davis, and I could like

  • expand my horizons and go to a new state and get an education here.

  • >> I'm thankful for my friends and family and the opportunities

  • that I've had so far and that I have going on.

  • I'm applying to law school now.

  • And it's kind of a time to reflect on what you've done and the

  • people that have been there to help me accomplish the things that I have.

  • And the opportunities that I have for the

  • future is something that I'm really thankful for.

  • that I was gonna graduate from college and be the first to graduate.

  • >> I just joined the team, and all my teammates are fantastic.

  • I know the team.

  • But it's already been working hard for the

  • last three years, and they're really strong great girls.

  • And very supportive.

  • And it's, keeps you organized.

  • And it helps me get through the day, and I get really excited to

  • see them every single morning, even though I have to wake up at 4:00 am.

  • >> I'm thankful for growing up in the Bay area.

  • Because I had the opportunity to just grow up with so many different kinds of people.

  • And really get connected to lots of

  • >> I am thankful for coffee, because it tastes good and it keeps me awake.

  • >> I think ultimately, around this time, I'm really thankful for my family.

  • Don't get to see them very much.

  • But starting with this part of the year, you get

  • So I'm really thankful that I'm able to have a home

  • that I can go to with my family that loves me.

  • >> Oh, I mean, it just introduced me to who I am today.

  • Like, I, the Bay Area is full of like different kinds of music

  • like hip hop and, and dance and stuff that I, I really enjoy.

  • So it shaped who I am today.

  • >> It's important because with the stress of kind

  • of college and like the quarter system and all

  • that, it's really nice to kinda get away and

  • just have like a real strong support network at home.

  • It just really helps me get through like all my schoolwork

  • and the stuff, the tough stuff I have to do here.
