I go straight to the school for experiments after getting up every day.

每天起床後 就是到學校做實驗

And I look up the information at the library, and then go back for experiments.

之後到圖書館查資料 再回到實驗室做實驗

Before knowing Wenpo, my life was pretty stressed out.

在認識文博之前 其實我的生活壓力很大

I have a strict advisor,

因為我的指導教授呢 是屬於緊迫盯人型的

and a senior schoolmate.

再加上啊 我們的研究室有一個大學長

I get up very early every day to work at the lab.

然後所以我每天早上都要很早到研究室開始工作

Life was nothing but finding papers, reading papers, and writing papers,

不外乎就是找論文讀論文寫論文

and it recurs constantly.

生活就是這樣 一直不斷的重複

I can tell you that the senior schoolmate was Hu-Ya-Han.

那可以告訴大家 那個學長就是胡雅涵

I was the activity executive of Rotary Club Alumni that year.

那一年我是扶輪社獎學生聯誼會的活動長

Then I held a voluntary service activity.

然後我舉辦了一個服務性的活動

主題叫做「十年有成，十分感謝」

I held a voluntary activity to serve at Wan-Ron Elementary School in Hualian.

我們要去花蓮的萬榮國小服務

I emailed all the alumni,

那我就發了e-mail給所有的獎學生

hoping those were interested would attend.

然後希望就是有興趣的夥伴可以一起來參加這個活動

And I was one of the alumni.

那我就是收到信的其中一位獎學生

Actually I went to the meeting room ,

其實那天我進入到會議室之後

I had no impression of Camille that day,

我完全對筱薇一點印象都沒有

and I didn't even know she was the executive.

那也不知道她是這個活動的活動長

I just remembered wondering

那我那時候的印象只有一個

how the girl sitting opposite to me talked nonstop,

就是奇怪為什麼坐在我對角的那個女孩 一直講話可以講不停

and kept smiling.

然後一直在笑

This was the first impression of her.

然後這是我對她的第一個印象 也是印象最深刻的

Since we were shifting some supplies to Hualian, it would be easier with a car.

因為我們要載一些物資去花蓮 所以開車比較方便

So I found some attendants to go to Hualian beforehand, with a car.

所以我就召集了一些可以提前到花蓮的夥伴

Just to do some preparation.

我們開一台車 然後一起去花蓮 提前啦 提前去花蓮做準備

Camille. What does it take to be your boyfriend?

筱薇 你交男朋友有什麼條件嗎

God will prepare me a most suitable one.

上帝會為我預備一個最適合我的啦

I found that Camille was very passionate with voluntary service during that time,

那在活動過程裡面我發現 筱薇在做服務喔 非常有熱忱

and that was how I grew to be attracted to her.

所以那時候她慢慢的吸引到我

Especially for a executive,

那尤其對一個總召來說 其實要一直做很多的決定

there are a lot of decisions to make.

那有時候也會有些挫折

She confronted some obstacle.

而且我覺得她很特別的是說

However she was able to care for everyone,and that was very special of her.

她都會一直去顧到一個 我們同仁們的一個心情

And she also managed to hold the activity.

而且還會把活動做好

It was an amazing thing to do.

那我覺得這是很了不起的事情

And I was taking picture all the time during the activity

那就在活動過程裡面我也有這個拍照

through the camera

那透過這個觀景窗的時候

I thought how beautiful this girl was!

我發現說 奇怪怎麼有這麼美的一個女生啊

Because many details are showed through the camera,

那因為透過觀景窗你會看到很多的細節

even the moment when breeze blew over her hair.

所以哪怕只是一個風吹過她的頭髮

You would think that "Wow, so beautiful."

你都會覺得 哇 好美啊

I can almost smell the scent of her hair.

似乎都聞到那個頭髮的香味

So this is something of her that attracts me.

所以這也是她很吸引我的地方

So, I started to be attracted to her.

所以 我開始注意到她了

It was really tiresome holding the activity.

辦這個活動啊 真的很累

Many attendants failed to fight till the end.

就是有很多夥伴到最後都不支倒地

I noticed that Wenpo

然後我發現文博啊

I noticed that Wenpo was a really innocent and compassionate big brother.

他真的是個很單純 然後很有愛心的大哥哥

You know, the aboriginal kids are very energetic,

你知道啊 原住民的小朋友真的都是精力旺盛 非常有活力

and Wenpo never complained.

然後我都從來沒有聽到文博有任何怨言

I really appreciate that.

所以他這一點真的讓我很欣賞

He could roll over on the ground with the kids.

而且他就可以跟原住民小朋友在地上打滾也不怕髒

He is just a pure person,

就是一個很單純的人

and accompanied the children genuinely.

然後是很真心的在陪伴小朋友

And there's another thing. One must taste seafood in Hualian, right?

還有一件事情 就是因為到了花蓮啊 就一定要吃海鮮對不對

I was outside the restaurant when he was ordering seafood.

然後我們有一次在吃飯的時候啊 他就點菜 然後我在外面

He told the owner, "shrimp, two ounce."

他就跟老闆說 老闆 蝦十兩

I thought it was super MAN! I tell you, SUPER MAN!

然後我就覺得 真的是 ＭＡＮ爆了 我跟你說 ＭＡＮ爆了

Probably only my mom orders like this.

因為啊 就是從小到大 大概只有我老媽會這樣點菜

I have never met anyone else who orders so boldly.

這麼豪邁的點菜 我沒有遇過第二個人

And that is Wenpo.

然後文博就是這樣豪邁的點菜

So I really think.Oh!

所以我真的覺得 噢 不太一樣

before the night I was going to tell her,

這個在告白前一天晚上

there was a voice in me.It kept telling me that

我心裡面就一直有個聲音告訴自己說

she is the one. There's nobody else like her.

我的另外一半就是筱薇了 沒有別人了

It was an intense feeling.

所以這個感覺很強烈

I felt like if I don't tell her my feelings, my life would be black and white.

就會覺得說 如果我不跟筱薇告白 我這個 人生就會變黑白

And, I would regret that.

而且呢 就覺得生命會有遺憾

I didn't sleep for the whole night,

所以那個時候就 真的是 一整晚沒有睡 就一直在思考說

thinking how I was going to tell her tomorrow.

那我明天到底要怎麼去告白

So I didn't sleep. The next day I went to their school with a bunch of flower.

所以呢 我就沒睡 隔天就到她們學校 帶了一束鮮花

I only knew that she had class in the morning,

那個時候我只有一個資訊而已 我只知道她早上要上課

and that was all I knew.

就這個資訊而已

So it took me much time going by classrooms.

所以我繞了老半天 跑了好多教室 那最後終於 被我問到了

Finally, I found it !

知道說筱薇在哪個教室上課

So I went into the classroom just in time

於是呢 我就掐準時間

with flower and my burning heart,

帶了那束鮮花 還有我火熱的心 進到那教室裡面

and tell her my feelings.

跟筱薇告白

We love foods.

我們很喜歡吃東西啊

Wenpo is very nice to me, he often take me to eat good foods.

所以文博常常就會帶我去吃美食 對我很好

But I still couldn't make up my mind. You know, girls are like this.

不過我還是很猶豫 你知道女孩子都是這樣子的

Just not sure about is it really am I really going to date him?

就會不是很確定說這真的是 我真的要跟他交往嗎

Yah. And then I remember that day when I felt down.

我記得有一天 然後我很低潮

I kept thinking this.

一直在想這個問題

I don't have peace in mind.

心裡面啊 就沒有平安

When Wenpo found that, he came to me immediately

然後文博知道之後呢 雖然他的實驗很忙喔

even though he was busy for experiments.

可是他還是在第一時間就跑來中央大學找我

I'm not sure if we should keep dating each other.

我不確定我們是不是要繼續交往

怎麼會這麼說呢

I don't feel peaceful in my heart.

我心裡面覺得很不平安

Wenpo came to me, and told me those things. I was really touched.

文博來找我啊 跟我說那些話 真的讓我很感動

People might think that, why are you so touched? He actually didn't say much.

可能其他人會覺得 這有什麼好感動的對不對 他其實沒有說什麼

However the reason I was so touched was that

但 真正讓我感動的點是

he paid attention to observe me

他很細心的在注意我 觀察我 瞭解我

and took care of me with the way that suits me

他是用適合我的方式在照顧我

rather than the way he likes.

而不是用他喜歡的方式在照顧我

So he knew the reason for me not having peace in mind.

所以 他知道我心裡面不平安的點是什麼

He took care of me with the way that suits me, so I was very touched.

所以他用適合我的方式在照顧我 所以我就會覺得很感動

That is how I become more and more peaceful, and gain more and more sense of security.

那 也因為這樣我就越來越有平安 然後也越來越有安全感

Before we start dating,

在我們交往以前

I applied for a research project in America.

我就有申請了要往美國做研究的計畫

Not long after we started dating I had to go to America

所以 我們交往之後沒有多久 我就要出發去美國了

for about a year.

大概要去一年多

I thought it would be hard to get along because of the distance and the time lag.

我覺得這距離很長 然後又有時差的問題 相處起來一定很不容易

Once, just once I told him that,

所以我那個時候呢 曾經啦 就有跟文博說

"Let's split up."

我們還是分開吧
