Another day I met a friend who has a passion for weird, obscure things in Japan.

He said he was going to take me to an easy kaya slash ramen restaurant that was off the beaten path that nobody really knew about.

And I said yes to that as well because I will follow anybody down a dark alleyway if they told me that they had good content for me.

But we ended up in a place like this.

This place is called Momo Madu, and it's not your typical is a kaya slash robin restaurant because, well, these things happen.

Eso Mamadou has two locations.

The owner's name is Lady Momo, and he started this shop as a normal izakaya and Roman shop apparently.

And then he realized that a lot of customers weren't coming in.

So we decided to spruce it up a bit and make it look like Rainbow exploded everywhere.

Okay, so we're at a new ramen shop that I've never actually been to before, and it's really pink.

It's like Rahman culture is pretty competitive in Japan.

I'd say it's not a lot of like chain restaurants.
