That's exactly what happened to me here in Malta!!

I arrived to this island knowing I speak Arabic and they speak Maltese!

我來到這個島上，發現我說阿拉伯語，而他們說馬爾他語。

But as soon as I talk to people, I understood them! (that's insane!!)

但當我跟當地人對話的時候，我居然聽得懂他們！（那很誇張！！)

Their street names, food menus and language!

他們的街道名、食物菜單跟語言我都懂！

Maltese: "Do you want strawberry?!"

馬爾他語：「你想吃草莓嗎？！」

Arabic: " Strawberry?! Thank you!"

阿拉伯語：「草莓嗎？謝謝你！」

I feel like you're speaking like a bit of Arabic there!

我覺得你有點像在說阿拉伯語！

Turns out Maltese is a language made up of Arabic, Italian, English and French.

原來，馬爾他語是一種由阿拉伯語、意大利語、英語和法語組成的語言。

That's why we got each other!

這就是為什麼我們聽得懂對方在說什麼！

At the end of the day, we spoke different languages, but we were on the same page!!

雖然到頭來，我們說的是不同的語言，但是我們的想法是一致的。

And when the whole world gets on the same page, we'll have less of this!
