It's cooking and crafting because and 1/2 of butter here at room temperature. And I am going to add to that one and 1/2 cups. I'm sorry. Two and 1/2 cups of sugar and I'm just going to feed it until its life It nice and fluffy about 10 minutes. So what I did in this bowl here was I sifted three and 1/2 cups of all purpose flour with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda. What I'm gonna do is I'm gonna add about 1/3 of this mixture in here, and we're gonna do that. You know the drying wet, dry wit ad and the wet we're gonna add is one cup of butter milk. So when this is all blended in, make sure you scrape down sides. Way will add in half of the cup of butter milk motel to right now and then I'll scrape down side later, and then we're gonna add in the next third of the flower and repeat with buttermilk and then the last third of flower after that. Let me take care of that. I'll be right back where I was supposed to mix in a 14 eggs, one at a time before we added in the buttermilk on the flower. But I have a few destructions going on. I'm hoping that this is not point to affect it as I'm not messed up like that before. I hope not. Because I don't wanna found over mix my my mix and have a little talk. So let me go ahead. At that end, I'm gonna add in a teaspoon of, um, lemon extracts. If you want to, You may add lemon zest. I'm opting not to have been trying to recreate the Starbucks. Um, Lemon. Okay. And, um, I have appreciated my oven to 350 degrees, and I've prepared my bundt pan with, uh, I sprayed it with Pam that has the flour in it. So you wanna grease and flour helps your pants on poor. And after we get this all mixed up, I mean, anyway, lemon extract, and we're gonna cook it anywhere from 60 minutes to 75 minutes. It depends on your of in it. should be done by about one hour. That's usually about the time it takes for pound cakes. But you want to do that? Um, Toothpick test. The weird thing that we're also gonna do is when this smells wonderful. Were lowered that down thea temperature down to 325 degrees before we put it into the oven. So I'm going to go ahead, and I'm gonna do that. You put it in still at the 12. You know, you don't wait for it to go down to 3 25 Just wanna just reduce the heat. All right? So I'm just going and try to level this out. I was the one thing that I am not a fan of when you used one kicks is I wouldn't seem to get everything I'll call up there, and then it gets all crusty and stuff. So I tried really hard to make it nice, and it worked, all right, into the oven. It goes. That was done in about 65 minutes, one hour and five minutes. We're going to let this rest for about 10 minutes, Marcel, and then we're gonna remove it from this and let it continue to cool completely before we even begin to think about putting on a glaze, Have two cups of confectioner's sugar or powdered sugar with two tablespoons of softened butter and four tablespoons of lemon juice. If you want to add lemon zest at this time, you may. Well, now we're just gonna go ahead and we're just gonna continue to beat this until it's nice and smooth parchment paper under it so that it will anything that drizzles off. But, you know, I thought this was gonna end up being a lot more. Um um, liquidy gets is the word to say then that Then it ended up.
