Hello, people of VoiceTube. My name is Hugh and it’s always my pleasure to be hosting the Pronunciation Challenge for everyone. Today, I’ll be trying something different. I’ll be presenting one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands, OneRepublic! This song is called, I Lived. It’s essentially a song about living life to the fullest. This song makes me reflect on good times and bad times of the past. Living life to the fullest, in my opinion, doesn’t just mean living life constantly being happy because that’s impossible. (For those that have seen the movie, Inside Out, you will understand what I’m talking about.) In order to feel real happiness, sometimes you may have had to go through tough times beforehand. That’s the risk we take in life sometimes. For others, living a safe life is more important and there’s nothing wrong with that. I can keep going on and on with this topic but let’s get to the featured sentence first. Well, this time I used two sentences instead of one. It’s hard to get a featured sentence with a song, ok!

For myself, I chose to chase my dream of becoming an actor. It hasn’t been easy I tell you. I’ve had my lowest of lows but I’ve also had the highest of highs. It just depends on what you want. For me, I want to live life to the fullest, even if that means experiencing the negative aspects of that as well. That’s the full life! I definitely don’t have the answers to these big questions in life but we’re all living life for the first time right? Expect the unexpected and take it one day at a time I say! Are you living a full life? Are you really living a fulfilling life? Only you have the answers. I hope you find it soon. I’m still searching and maybe that’s the journey of life itself!
