What do you make of it is a competition, you know, I think there's a lot of confusion and I still think there is a lot of confusion I saw in an interview about six months ago and they asked Harry McGuire, you know about it and he kind of said We don't even know his players.

You know what there is, But I think what I like about it is there's there's more urgency and I think people want to win more.

I think I watch thing than friendlies in the past and it just seems like, you know, there's not really an atmosphere.

People just kind of go through the motions.

But I think certainly from what I've seen from this, people want to win, and it just has a better feeding about it.

It's a strange one, isn't it?

That, you know the prize isn't quite known or understood by anyone now and yet we all wanna win it.

Well, sudden.

So it's a But you looked at that England team, you know, the way they celebrated the winds in Spain and, you know, winds over over in before the tournament selling it on the mini tournament in the summer.

It just seemed Thio lack that bit of that bit zealousness a bit a bit of impetus in that summit because it feels when it waas.

I think the fact that the games during the winter or during the international breaks in the autumn were were better because they had a bit more spice to it.

But then it did kind of feel like that that many torment in the summer had sort of that end of season feel to it, so I don't know whether that's due to the success of the England Games in relative fixtures or in the respective pictures or whether it's just It was that time of year that everyone really wanted to go in their holidays and it was kind of in between.

It was years where there wasn't a major tournament, but no from where we were, really.

And though it's it's better for having virtually no friendlies, I think it's added much less.

You know, I think there's nothing worth and I've been involved in a number of England Friendly's where you go and you know I'm not pretending to be injured, but their managers don't want to go because it's a friendly and stuff like that.

Yeah, you know, after an hour, it's 11 changes on you that the came as God as a field.

There's no field to the game.

There's no structure to the game.

You don't even know who the best team is anymore because it's changed that much and so it's it's kind of it becomes meaningless after a while, so I think that to play there's nothing like playing to win, and that's what it brings.

One thing that makes me happy is I think Gareth Southgate's done a fantastic job of making the England fans fall back in love with the team again.

Following on from the success of the Euros and World Cup and stuff like that.

I think there were times when not many people going to Wembley to watch the games because, you know, it was kind of like players weren't really playing their best.

But I think the country's falling back in love with the England national team again and that certainly makes me happy because I feel more enthusiastic now.

Tow watch us, as opposed to a couple of years ago, would be a bit like old.

I'm like excited to watch England play on.

I think South Gate in the players, you know, more exciting now they seem more free forever.

Reason and I certainly look forward to what England games now, whether that's because of the nation's vagal traditional friendly, I just feel there's a different feeling about the squad and the team and that makes me encouraged to watch.

When they want to tie again, then I will know we play in the semifinal.

If we do it this way and I don't like that, I think you should try and win every game not to be like, Well, if we tighten and we draw this game, then we'll get to play a week or a position that that's no.

But I wouldn't necessarily want us to get all of the best teams in the world.
