  • River one.

  • Welcome to another video.

  • Now, first of all, I apologize for the pretty terrible camera I'm using today.

  • On Second of all, I hope you all had a pretty good bank holiday.

  • Now, in today's when I want to talk about a PC that I purchased from C E.

  • X here in the UK or no, I can't say that I'll probably get de monetized.

  • Anyway, this PC cost me about £190.

  • It was a pre built system and I decided I wanted to see what sort of specifications I could expect if I purchased one of their grade being machines.

  • Now C E X are notably pretty vague on their item descriptions.

  • They'll tell you the basic sections to see you the GPS in the amount of RAM, but the power supply that you're gonna get the motherboard on the type of ram is well left up to you to guess on today, this machine turned up now granted, I have taken the side panels off, but I want to talk about the whole sort of condition of this machine today because I have been left a little bit disappointed.

  • Originally, I intended to test a few games on this PC.

  • But I thought, in this one, I'm gonna tell you everything that's wrong with it because whoever was in charge of quality control when it came to looking over this machine has obviously got their eyes painted on.

  • Now let's get into it and I'll show you around the machine itself, as well as a few of the issues that seem to be plaguing.

  • So let's start with the case itself.

  • Now you can see here that it's a white case.

  • It looks pretty decent.

  • If we come around the front and you can see he looked pretty snazzy.

  • I do like a white case.

  • Every so often, we've got the 24 month warranty sticker on the front hair.

  • C E X usually sell most items with a two year warranty, which is nice.

  • You know what I noticed?

  • That it's sitting with a bit of ah, permanent wobble on.

  • This is because one around boxed it.

  • One of the little feet just fell off.

  • I'm not sure if this occurred during shipping due to a clumsy courier, or maybe it was like this from the start, but I have noticed a little bit of damage here, which lines up with the cardboard shipping box.

  • And this carries over to the corner off the side panel too.

  • The whole thing also smells a little bit like a 19 fifties cocktail bar.

  • The cigarette smoke odor coming from this thing is quite intense.

  • It just isn't that good of a condition, is it?

  • No.

  • I wouldn't call this great bay, would you?

  • No.

  • Exactly.

  • Inside the machine, we've actually got a pretty decent power supply amongst all of the dust and filth.

  • It's an antic, true power classic.

  • 750.

  • What unit on on the Linus tactic forms off P s U T is this actually comes in at a great be meaning.

  • It should be pretty reliable.

  • That was also missed the screw hole hair and just screwed the scurvy into the powers of life without even trying.

  • Get it through the case, which is an interesting technique.

  • We've also got the FX 83 20 process ER and radio are 93 82 Gigi Pew as advertised, as well as Eight Gigs of Ram.

  • Although it is single channel, as I said before, C e X can be quite vague on their specifications.

  • So I know I was getting this graphics card, the CPU and this ram, but I didn't know what sort of motherboard and power supply we would end up getting.

  • We've also got a DVD drive, which is nice to see.

  • Some may consider these obsolete, but I still like them from my classic titles that I might want to install.

  • It's a very handy thing to have, even in 2019 but now it's time to talk about this course there.

  • Liquid cooler.

  • See, this is here and not here because when I tried to fire a battlefield five, the machine immediately overheated.

  • I got to the loading screen and all of a sudden the machine switched off, and I could only put it down to the fact that this was loaded with dust.

  • As you can see here, though, on closer inspection it seems that there is a part missing or something because I couldn't for the life of me, get it to stay solidly on the motherboard here on the temperature, get just kept going up and up and up, eventually leading to the same outcome.

  • So I'm gonna have to get a standard air cooler on here, and it just so happens that at the moment I don't have a spare one available to fit this socket.

  • Which is why I'm not testing out its performance today as well.

  • It's not just this CPU call.

  • Other had a looseness issue, either.

  • It seems that every single screw on this machine has been done up by a 2 to 3 month old child.

  • Every single component was pretty much hanging out of this case.

  • I'm not sure if it's been shaking around during shipping, which is caused not only the damage to the case, but there looseness of all the components themselves.

  • But to be honest, if this turned up and you have no real PC building knowledge, you just wanted a fairly well priced pre built.

  • Then you likely be disappointed when you found that the motherboard either fell off the chassis.

  • All the liquid cooler was causing this thing toe overheat due to not being installed properly.

  • If we go around the back, you'll notice the hard drive is here and not in here again.

  • This was an issue regarding the tightening of the screws.

  • All I did was lift this up on this Plopped out and the satyr cable popped out of the socket to if this arrived with you and you took it out of the box, you had no previous PC building experience.

  • Like I said in your hard drive decided to come loose.

  • Well, you might find yourself in a bit of a momentary pickle.

  • I just want to reiterate something quickly.

  • I said that this was screwed in quite loosely, But what I meant to say is that it wasn't screwed in a told so the screws didn't come loose because they weren't actually there.

  • We do have these clips toe hold, the hard driving, but they won't click to the drive.

  • It was just literally sitting in there, which wasn't exactly ideal.

  • Now, funny story.

  • I actually sent a graphics card to C E.

  • X to sell after having some trouble with the bay, and they sent it back to me without paying me anything because there was a screw missing near the DVD I put.

  • So it makes me wonder why they're quality Control is so strict.

  • In some instances, you're in the case of this machine is, well, not non existent.

  • but a little more relaxed.

  • Now, don't get me wrong.

  • I'm happy with the specifications here.

  • I like this sort of surprise element to buying from UK that we write a conference.

  • Some.

  • We've got very nice power supply here.

  • We do have a liquid caller despite the fact that it was hanging off the system when it arrived.

  • And we do have some pretty nice memory as well.

  • On DDE, I still sort of decent case.

  • Despite its many dense.

  • I guess that's all we can say for this one.

  • This is the grade B, C, E X, and shrink.

  • A little bit of an investigative video here, checking out what you can expect if you purchase a cheap pretty good from C E X.

  • I was still shot there.

  • Happily, I do enjoy their range off trooper products.

  • But in the case of this machine, I think a little bit more quality control could have gone into it before it was sold on.

  • So I'm gonna leave it there.

  • Thank you very much for watching if you enjoyed it, leave alike on it.

  • If you didn't leave a dislike, subscribe to the channel.

  • If you haven't done so already.

  • And hopefully I'll see you all in the next one where we will be fixing up this machine and then seeing how a combination like this hand was games.

River one.
