It's been exciting for us to be here seven years in the process and after Miami has taken a tougher than you thought when you embarked on the journey.

I have my goodness, it's Ah, it's been a lot tougher than I ever expected it to be.

A I've spoke about it, you know, over over the years, and obviously this week I spoke about it a lot.

It's been a long journey.

What When I announced it a couple of days after I retired in Paris seven years ago, I never expected it to take seven years.

But it did, and I will.

I look back it now as if you know, sometimes you have to You have to fight for things.

And this was definitely one of those moments I've said.

We're already many times before on many times today that, you know, my wife talks about.

Sometimes I'm pretty stubborn.

This was one of the times over the last seven years.

I had to be very stubborn and, you know, I had to persevere.

So Yep.

David, you were one of the first marquee players to come into the MLS.

Come into this league and enormously lots followed in your footsteps.

So far, you're yet to make a marquee European signing.

Certainly.

And he plans to do that.

I mean, we have aspirations and ambitions.

Azan ownership group to do that.

You know, I'm sure a lot of owners in many franchises of term around the said Yeah, we want to bring the biggest names in the best players.

One of the things that I think that we've done is we need to step back and take our time and make sure that we're bringing the right players into into our club.

You know, one thing I learned from Sir Alex Ferguson is, you know, over the years it's not about bringing the biggest names and the best players.

It's Britta's about bringing the right people and the right players into the into the team.

So you know, we're really happy with the squad that we have going into this weekend.

We have some great talented young players and a couple of experience players.

But you know, we're gonna take our time on bringing you know, the bigger names in tow into our club as well, and it's right it is.

It is important that We do that to make the right decisions that fit in with the great players that we've already got enough squad.

So, yes, we have ambitions of bringing, you know, a big names into the club as well.

But you know, we'll take our time on that.

Keep hearing that we keep hearing about, you know, the players that get mentioned.

But obviously, you know, if if any club around the world have the chance of bringing Cristiano or Leo in tow, their squad, then every team would want that.

Of course, you know, to have to have played at the highest level for the amount of years that they have played and still doing it.

You know, it's Ah, it's any Any owners dream to do that, but you know, we'll see.

It's been seven years since Sir Alex Ferguson step down at Manchester United.

Speaking now is a fan as you are.

Has it been difficult to watch the decline since the glory days of winning all those titles?

I think when your club's biggest Manchester United and you've had the amount of success that we had over the years.

There was always going to be a period where you know, other clubs, they're gonna have that success.

Obviously, you know, when that success is being had by Manchester City and obviously Liverpool at the moment, you know, it's always going to be talked about.

But as a Manchester United fan, you know, I think there was always gonna be a transition period.

You know, especially when Sir Alex works and step down, the boss stepped down.

You know, obviously you have David Gill that was working within the club as well.

You know, no one talks about that as well, you know?

Also, you have the players that also, you know, stop playing.

You have the gigs, school's E, the Neff's.

You know, all of these players that stop playing, You know, there was always gonna be a period where you know we wasn't gonna be a successful is.

It is hard to watch months United is it was 10 years ago.

No, because I'm a real fan.

You know, I'm a real fan of Manchester United and whatever, Whatever the situation, I love watching, you know, mansion tonight play.

But you know this hope that it doesn't last for too much longer where you know we we go without trophies because I think that we are a club, that he's one of the biggest, if not the biggest club in the world on dhe that that that tradition that we have not me, not many clubs have and all they're gonna social.

Your former teammate is at the helm.

What sort of job see doing, do you think?

I think he's doing a good job.

You know the fact that always stepped in and stepped up.

He continues to come out on DSO and be positive about the players.

But he has learned that from from the boss, you know, the boss would never come out and criticize one of these players.

Is club bond always doing exactly the same?

But I think Ali has the inexperience and the experience of being a player at Manchester United and also now being a manager.

You know he's still learning, but I think at the end of the day on Lee will protect his players.

He will protect Manch United and every Manchester United fan will be behind only because A is a great person and be what he's done for much united over the years.

Even since I've really bad luck with injuries going into major tournaments, your metatarsal well prayed for in 2002 Wayne Rooney's in 2006.

You'll remember that when you're the captain, will you be praying for Hurricane?

I think we all want our best players to be going into any competition.

You know that we do assignation, harried.

Such a great goal score is such a great captain on.

He leads that team.

But you know, we're all keeping our fingers crossed that he gets back fit as soon as possible for Tottenham and also, you know, for England as a team.

But you know, I think it's quite exciting going into the Euros because I think, you know, when we went into Russia there was not many, you know, huge expectations and I think the team did incredibly well.
