  • And this is one that you, the people of the Internet, have asked for a lot, like, really, quite a lot to the point where I was like Okay, okay.

  • Not just for this, but bringing back a substantial bottle of Manhattan special.

  • Oh, yes, it is the premium premium coffee soda.

  • Now, this company has been going since 18.

  • 95 they are definitely gonna make sure you know about it.

  • There's no way they're gonna let you ignore that.

  • They they are so proud of this that they even put the word delicious right on the bucket.

  • Which is confident.

  • I appreciate that.

  • Now they claim this has no very much in it except pure coffee, water cane, sugar, caramel color, and then our friendly preservatives, which are potassium.

  • So bait and sodium benzoate delicious.

  • This is where it gets interesting for me.

  • These are hand brewed from freshly roasted coffee beans.

  • I don't know what they mean by hand brewed in this situation.

  • If you're making some sort of espresso.

  • I don't understand.

  • Does that mean that kind of doing massive pour overs and then dying it with the caramel color?

  • So it looks espresso colored?

  • I'm very confused by this, but I want to drink it.

  • I want to taste it.

  • I want to find out if it's any good.

  • It's got a gold medal.

  • Apparently, it just says Gold medal.

  • What can I read them?

  • Difficult.

  • I don't stand something about Rome in 1925 and gold medals, whatever.

  • So it's a heritage thing, right?

  • Like it's a very heritage, the feeling thing.

  • It's a very, you know, if it was English e oldie coffee soda.

  • Now espresso wasn't really espresso in 18 95 so I'm not sure that have been producing an espresso soda that long, but I'm sure they were doing something delicious.

  • And New York, if we need to drink this, So let's get some ice ready and it's cracking open.

  • I'm pretty excited.

  • I mean, I'm not gonna lie.

  • The fact that this comes in a 32 ounce bottle is confident again.

  • I like a confident beverage.

  • Poot.

  • No, it's not a big fizz.

  • Oh, no.

  • Now, Oh, dear okay.

  • I was hopeful before.

  • Now I'm nervous.

  • It looks like a cola, and I respect that.

  • You know, right now this could be a delicious color, but it's not.

  • It smells of rubber.

  • Rubber.

  • Rubber is what I'm smelling here, that kind of the coffee rubber smell.

  • If you've tasted coffee that tastes rubber into that rubber, which is like regular rather wear any well, they haven't skimped on the coffee flavor.

  • That's that's their That's loud and proud.

  • I don't know if I'm gonna keep doing these.

  • If life keeps dealing me cards like this, I had hopes.

  • This isn't this is this is popular.

  • People apparently are really into this right now, but it's not good.

  • It's just got this kind of dark roast, nasty little aspect.

  • And then this kind of robbery nous And in the middle, that kind of classic fake coffee tastes.

  • You know that, like the kind of like coffee sweets thing with kind of typical coffee flavor in confection, it's that flavor in the middle, but is bookended awfully by this kind of burnt rubber gasoline, uh, creosote Tom AK.

  • It's just I don't like it, and I feel bad.

  • Manhattan special special.

  • This sets me up to think I'm gonna drink Coca Cola or other branded cola on dhe.

  • It just dashes my hopes, destroys them, it ruins them, and it just slams me in the face with this bitter, harsh, unpleasant, just no good.

  • Bad.

  • Yeah, coffee flavor.

  • Amount of words.

  • I'm into sounds.

  • You know, I've got nothing left, but no, no.

  • I keep wanting you to be better and you're not, and you're not going to be better.

  • It probably has about the same caffeine.

  • Maybe Maura's a cola.

  • It's about a sweet is a cola.

  • It has noted the fruit, none of the acid and none of the complexity.

  • None of the joy and aromatics of a good color.

  • It's just got a gut punch of coffee flavor that is not even the good coffee flavor.

  • Who is smashing 32 fluid ounces of this.

  • Who are you?

  • Are you out there?

  • Are you watching this video?

  • If you love this cool, I don't get it.

  • I just don't get it.

  • I don't get it all.

  • There's not enough words in the language to describe my frustration or the unpleasant taste of these drinks.

  • If you're watching this and there's a good one is like actually a good one, this one that is delicious.

  • You would strongly recommend that doesn't just say delicious on the label and then just lie to you horribly, then then let me know.
