I'M ACTUALLY DOING PRETTY WELL BECAUSE I'M LUCKY TO BE UNDER AN AWNING SO YOU CAN'T TELL HOW MUCH SNOW IS ACTUALLY FALLING HERE IN NEW ROCHELLE, ACTUALLY, WHERE WE ARE. WE ARE AT THE NEW ROCHELLE TRAIN STATION AND PEOPLE ARE OBVIOUSLY HEEDING THE WARNINGS TO STAY AT HOME BECAUSE IF YOU LOOK BEHIND ME, THIS PLACE IS LITERALLY A GHOST TOWN. NONE OF THE COMMUTERS HERE WAITING ON THE PLATFORM. THE ONLY PEOPLE HERE MY CAMERAMAN CAN FOLLOW ME REAL QUICK -- ARE THESE GUYS. THEY ARE SHOVELING THE SNOW THAT HAS ACCUMULATED SO FAR ON THE PLATFORM. AS THE GOVERNOR ANNOUNCED EARLIER, METRO-NORTH WILL BE SHUTTING DOWN AT NOON TODAY. THE LAST STATION TO LEAVE THIS STATION WILL BE HEADING INTO THE CITY AT 10:34. THAT'S THAT TRAIN GOING IN TO PENN STATION. AGAIN, TRAINS SHUTTING DOWN AT NOON. THE GOVERNOR SAYING THAT THE TRAINS WILL BE HEADING INTO THE HUDSON VALLEY WHERE WE'RE GETTING ANYWHERE FROM UP TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW AN HOUR THE BIGGEST CONCERN THE TRAINS COULD GET STUCK ON THE TRACKS AND THAT COULD BE DANGEROUS. WE SPOKE TO A FEW COMMUTERS HERE EARLIER CATCHING A 9:30 TRAIN. MANY OF THEM HEADING INTO THE CITY BECAUSE THEY ARE ESSENTIAL WORKERS THEY HAVE TO HEAD INTO THE HOSPITAL, THINGS LIKE THAT. THEY ARE TELLING ME, THEY WERE HOPING FOR A MIRACLE AND THAT THE GOVERNOR WOULD TURN THINGS AROUND AND OPENER METRO-NORTH BUT THE GOVERNOR SAYING IF YOU ARE TAKING METRO-NORTH TRAINS, THE LAST TRAINS ARE LEAVING ANYTIME BETWEEN NOW AND 10:30. AND THEN AT NOON, SHUTTING DOWN COMPLETELY. SO IF YOU ARE HEADING ANYWHERE FIND ANOTHER WAY HOME OR -- [ SIGNAL BREAKUP ] STAY OVERNIGHT IN THE CITY OR WHEREVER YOUR FINAL DESTINATION IS. THAT'S THE LATEST LIVE IN NEW ROCHELLE. BACK TO YOU IN THE STUDIO. SURPRISING TO SEE IT'S SO EMPTY AT THIS HOUR?
