  • So the last video, we were just kind of doing some tests, but I'm gonna actually work on some of the parts.

  • But I want to paint up this cycle frame.

  • I'm actually gonna do just a kind of metallic e blue color for the psycho frame.

  • I decided against doing this psycho frame in the armor as two different shades of gold.

  • I'm just going to the armor's gold into the psycho frame as blue.

  • So I want to show you guys how I'm going to do that.

  • I'm gonna paint that because when I painted essentially in the same way that I painted the psycho frame for my mega sized unicorn got him that I painted last year, uh, something should go.

  • The guys, the pains in the process and when to use for painted in psycho frame here, scuttle parts ready over here for the primer I'm going to use a black primer from guy A notes is just their surface of servicer, Evo blacks just black primer here. 00:00:58.720 --> 00:01:1.430 Uh, Mr Color also makes black primers with other companies. 00:01:1.430 --> 00:01:10.220 Of course, just to lay down some black underneath our metallic chrome hero Just going to be Mr Color number 104 Gun Chrome.

  • Just this nice, bright chrome color there for that.

  • And so having a gloss black bass will give you more shine of your metallic color here.

  • Now, this primer is not very glossy.

  • I think you could probably mix in some gloss base from guy in probably with this to make it a little more glossy, I think I'm not sure I don't have any offense.

  • I'm not gonna try it.

  • Uh, but I'm not really too worried about that.

  • Having a glossy black under the metallics does give you a little bit better shine of your metallics.

  • But I'm not too worried about that.

  • It's a little bit better, but anyway, so I'm just gonna use that.

  • And then I'm going to go over the top of that with some fluorescent blue here and also from guy notes.

  • Number 101 So, fluorescent blue.

  • I'm in this.

  • I'm going to mix in some. 00:01:55.020 --> 00:02:0.750 This is also for Mr Hobby from there, Mr Crystal Color Line of Pains. 00:02:0.750 --> 00:02:3.060 This is Amethyst Purple, so it just gives a little bit. 00:02:3.060 --> 00:02:6.370 Kind of you can see that purple shined too. 00:02:6.370 --> 00:02:9.880 That's gonna be kind of interesting mix there. 00:02:9.880 --> 00:02:12.930 Someone makes a little bit of this with the fluorescent blue sort of give.

  • It would be like fluorescent blue with a little bit of like purple shimmer to it, so that should be pretty cool.

  • Anyway, we'll see how it looks.

  • So I'm gonna give it a try.

  • And here is the first step is just doing all the timing.

  • So it's a bunch of little parts here.

  • Shouldn't take too long.

  • Just give youse all primed up.

  • All right, so all those black parts are getting their cure on for a little while.

  • Let's go ahead and get some gold going on these parts.

  • So I am gonna use both of the golds to make a two tone gold.

  • But what I'm gonna do if you remember from the effectual kit maybe the easiest to see here on the manual, you can see that it's got some of the parts.

  • A handful of the parts are in a light gray color, so its armor is not entirely white.

  • There is a two tone color there. 00:02:59.700 --> 00:03:0.380 It's mostly white. 00:03:0.380 --> 00:03:3.060 And then a few parts in this light gray. 00:03:3.070 --> 00:03:8.890 So for all of those parts, I'm gonna use the Inca color here. 00:03:8.890 --> 00:03:11.200 So the inca pigment one use for these.

  • So I'm gonna get these all sprayed, and then we'll head over to other table and applies in the pigment on them.

  • All right, so here it is. 00:03:58.930 --> 00:04:3.750 All of the secretary parts painted and all of the gold Now all done. 00:04:3.750 --> 00:04:8.500 Let me show you a couple pieces here, so I would say practice makes perfect. 00:04:8.500 --> 00:04:11.960 But I'll just say for now practice makes a lot better.

  • So after the test, now these parts are coming out much better.

  • I'm really happy with these results.

  • They're not 100% perfect, but they're looking pretty good.

  • So here is one piece that I can show you that I can assemble for the moment which does have the two tone gold.

  • So the center two parts there are in the chrome golden in this outer partisan, the Inca gold.

  • As you can see, they're not really looking all that different.

  • You can kind of see a little a slight difference between the two of them, but it's not really all that much, so that's good.

  • I didn't want it to be too drastically different, just barely noticeable.

  • Now the psycho frame, however, I'm thinking it looks very bright, almost a little bit too bright, brighter than I wanted.

  • But it might look fine once the kid is altogether just these parts.

  • At the moment, I'm thinking, look extremely right.

  • There is another example of the two golds next to each other. 00:04:57.700 --> 00:05:1.160 You stated that this is part for the cafs against you that will be a little more noticeable. 00:05:1.160 --> 00:05:6.990 You can see they catch the light a little bit differently as well, because definitely with a bit darker in its tones. 00:05:6.990 --> 00:05:18.650 I think, honestly, I kind of like the look of the Inca more, but I'm glad I did these in the way that I do with just a little bit of ink on this, because I think the chrome gold works better for a Phoenix coloring for this.

  • But that said on future kids, I'm looking forward to using that in gone something else again.

  • The future I like that kind of dark darker is a sort of slightly greenish kind of gold color that that is for that.

  • So that is it for these parts?

  • For now.

  • As for all the frame and joined parts and all that stuff, I just put some glass co on those two.

  • Get those ready for doing some panel lining and let that dry, do some pan aligning with some detail painting on those, throw some decals on this, and then it should be pretty much done.

  • I'm gonna keep it two tone in the final topcoat and keep all the frame parts enjoying parts and the rifle in all that stuff and just a mat coat.

  • Keep all this stuff glossy, so it'll have a nice kind of two tone final effect there for that. 00:05:58.590 --> 00:06:5.580 So that's it for now for this video Guys, I gotta say, I think the chroma flares definitely got easier after some practice. 00:06:5.590 --> 00:06:6.750 It just takes some time. 00:06:6.740 --> 00:06:13.390 You just gonna have to get used to the timing of it, of making sure that your base coat is wet enough that you can get them good coverage with those.

  • I found the Inca was easier to apply the chrome gold.

  • I had to be a little more careful with it, with making sure that the base coat was nice and tacky to get good coverage of the chrome gold Inca.

  • That was easy.

  • I was.

  • No, I didn't have any problem with that.

  • I think I'll just say two on a side, not about the armor Kimoto pigments, but just about painting the psycho frame in the process that I did.

  • If you're gonna use that Mr Color gun chrome color, I found it's to be a lot better, the less thinner that you use.

  • So whatever you typically used for your thinner, I was a used less than that.

  • Basically, I found it will be working the best for the best cribbage coverage of that gun.

  • Chrome color is if it was just thin enough to be able to spray out the airbrush.

  • Obviously, if it's gonna be gumming up your brush, it's not gonna work. 00:06:58.960 --> 00:07:2.210 But as long as it was just thin enough to spray, then that was getting the best coverage. 00:07:2.210 --> 00:07:3.000 The thinner it was. 00:07:3.000 --> 00:07:6.040 I was just taking forever to get it to be a good brightness. 00:07:6.040 --> 00:07:8.100 But I got it to be nice and bright. 00:07:8.320 --> 00:07:14.590 They're finally and then the mix over the top of that did also take a few coats to get into a nice color of blue.

  • How it is, So I think it looks pretty good, but again, I'm anxious to see how it's gonna look once the kids all coming together.

  • So that is it for this video guys, if you have questions about this stuff, feel free to leave them down below.

  • You know specific questions about the armor Quanah stuff.

  • Do feel free to leave those down below as well.

  • I know there's a couple members of the team who will check the comments and answer your questions for you guys if you have questions.

  • Otherwise, of course, you can contact them on their Facebook page.

  • There's other means to get a hold of them.

  • If you have specific questions about the product that I may not know the answer for you, so you're the product they sent me.

  • That I didn't use for the specific project is the shibui color saw.

  • You have to try this on something else later.

  • I think this might look good on something like the Luna Geyser Gundam or something like that.

  • So maybe something for that in the future and then the mosque green. 00:07:57.390 --> 00:08:0.510 I want to use this for some sort of being, yet probably in the future. 00:08:0.510 --> 00:08:1.510 I don't really particularly do. 00:08:1.510 --> 00:08:3.760 Diagram was if I do one, I guess it will work good for that. 00:08:4.020 --> 00:08:5.550 But I think probably for us. 00:08:5.550 --> 00:08:6.450 Ah, nice weather. 00:08:6.460 --> 00:08:9.050 Beaten yet is this Will probably be good for All right. 00:08:9.050 --> 00:08:9.850 That's it for the video, guys. 00:08:9.850 --> 00:08:10.650 Thanks so much for watching.

  • We'll see you next time.

  • Bye.

So the last video, we were just kind of doing some tests, but I'm gonna actually work on some of the parts.
