A tunnel appears At the start of the 2018 season.

Eager fans tried getting a peek behind construction fences and announcement date was set and coaster pieces began to arrive.

Now we finally know exactly what's being planned for 2019 at Cedar Fair's Canada's Wonderland on August 15th 2018 the tarp was removed, construction fences were open to season pass holders and the park announced that the major edition for 2019 will be the BNM dive coaster Yukon Striker.

A few years in the making and planning and design behind this eventually straight up in a 245 93 straight Yukon striker will be the third BNM coaster at Canada's Wonderland.

But the first dive coaster in Canada, a poster is trains fact that therefore less so.

One ride that was left out on the official press release from the park was vortex, seeing how the ride is located across the way from soaring timbers and lumberjack and how the trains receive the new wooden theme this year.

I think we can expect a little surprise in 2019 with the ride being renamed and re themed, allowing it to officially be part of Frontier Canada. 00:03:57.760 --> 00:04:4.090 And that's not all we're opening in 2019. 00:04:4.100 --> 00:04:8.300 Winterfest will make its way to Canada's Wonderland this winter. 00:04:8.300 --> 00:04:17.460 Transformation has already been rolled out at other Cedar Fair parks, including California's Great America, Kings, Dominion, Kings, Island and Keira wins.

The whole park is transformed, freezing over the fountain in front of the mountains, scheming have lights, Christmas trees in a 70 foot Wall Street with night great live shows.

Canada's Wonderland has said that these additions for 2019 will be the largest capital investment that's been made to the park since it opened in 1981.
