字幕列表 影片播放 列印英文字幕 Okay, First of all, can you believe the size of my face? It's like a little China plate. The movie is very exciting. Tow watch. Was it exciting to film? Well is exhausting, you know, running around running around. But it was probably the most inspired environment that I've ever been in, and, uh, the most sort of creative group of people sort of everyone giving their best efforts all at one time. Let's talk about some of the people involved in the movie. Alan Pakula. What's he like as a director? He's great. He actually wrote the screenplay, did a great job, and yet certainly what's on the page is not always work on its feet. And he's very, you know, whatever works for you. Whatever is best for this character, you know, sort of always given me the confidence of you know, Darby better than anybody. If you don't think she would say that, then don't say it. You know what your problem is? You are so self involved. You couldn't be a mother. Maybe the problem here is your daughter and that she's spoiled Wise little bread. Get out. Are you sure I didn't see that on schedule the robbers. Good morning. Nice to see you. Give us a little a quick capsule ization of the story here and what's taking place between these two women. Well, a lot of stuff, but I think that at its center it is about this family and the two women, the mother and the would be stepmother. Um, and how that relationship initially doesn't work on such a grand scale doesn't work is an understatement. Yes. And, uh, but how That relationship not working, really does affect the entire scale of the family unit. And it makes you realize the power people have in a relationship to affect others around right? Today's is it? Yes, you did. No, I didn't. He said Whoopsie daisies. Julia Roberts joins us this morning. How you doing? Very nice to see you again. What did you think when they came to you about this film and say, Okay, here's the deal. We want you to play the world's most famous movie star who's every step into her life gets splashed across the pages of the media. Mr. Thought about doing that one. I thought it sounds like the worst idea I've ever heard in my life. I did. I mean, when I was told about it on the telephone, I just thought, that sounds horrible, boring, terrible, terrible idea. Kind of a stretch for you to have. It wasn't even about that. It was just about the idea that I just saw it. That doesn't sound interesting to me that what made you decide to the script it was undeniably charming and funny and clever. Julia Roberts is as big as movie stars. Get a CZ. The line between big and small screen blurs Roberts, the actor heads to where the good material is. Homecoming is a safe space in her new TV. Siri's Homecoming on Amazon Prime Roberts plays a counselor and mysterious rehab center for military vets, a place where nothing is as it seems. So it's a little bit Twilight Zone. Yeah, it's a little bit Alfred Hitchcock. Yes, I kept thinking of myself. You were such a good listener in this show because that ends up being so important. Well, it should always be an important all the time to everybody, right? Let's not talk about politics on because we, too, have a sense of humor. We dug this always this efficient Julia and Don Johnson in a 1988 episode of Miami Vice. Okay, first of all, can you believe the size of my face? It's like a little China plate.
