  • way with little Hey guys.

  • So I finally made it through the war zone.

  • That was my college finals week and got a chance to kick off my summer vacation in Austin, Texas.

  • Admittedly, my visit was motivated about 5% by the Knights nature scenery, 10% by instagram bullshit like this and 85% by the trendy food trucks and absolutely delicious barbecue.

  • Luckily, though, I managed to film this video before becoming the proud mother of a healthy barbecue food baby, frankly, out of desperation, posted video this week, I stopped by the Buffalo exchange near University of Texas, would turn out to be surprisingly well stocked and a pretty large location.

  • I guess everything really is bigger in Texas.

  • Let's start off with a little outfit of the day action.

  • I'm wearing this adorable romper that I got from American Eagle for, like, $20.

  • Honestly, I was kind of on the fence about buying it originally, but now it's my absolute favorite piece of clothing that I own, and I don't say that lightly, but it also has pockets to hide my hands and socially awkward situations.

  • It's super comfy and just the right amount of vintage inspired without looking like I own.

  • Like six cats and working long cloth, I threw on my trusty white high tops a k a.

  • The only shoes I pack for this trip and this adorable purse from hmm, Honestly, I think it looks way more expensive than the like 25 bucks that I paid for it.

  • The only annoying thing is that it doesn't fit a water bottle so I can learn the hard way that it's not super ideal for long days in the Texas heat with Theo.

  • First thing I tried on where these mule heals from coach that automatically caught my eye when I walked in.

  • They look intimidatingly high, but they were actually some of the most comfortable shoes that I've worn.

  • I think it definitely helped that the previous owner had broken them in, and it was genuine leather, so it honestly, just, like, felt so soft and comfortable to walk in.

  • They look super clean and minimal and kind of badass, like the type of stuff you'd see a fashion blogger wearing, But you think you could never pull off in real life.

  • They were priced at $62 which is kind of expensive for me, especially the thrift store.

  • But I just absolutely loved issues, and they fit like a dream.

  • Next up is this floral dress from a sauce that was priced at $16.

  • I really like the kind of mirrored kaleidoscope action that was going on with the print, and I thought it would be potentially pretty slimming.

  • Although the color is kind of out of my comfort zone.

  • As you guys know, I pretty much only wear like two colors.

  • Honestly, it looked pretty cute when I was posing in this very specific way, but ultimately it was kind of wrinkly and weird, and the fabric had basically no stretch to it, which made it kind of uncomfortable and suffocating and also definitely was not too forgiving on the stomach and kind of bunched up awkwardly around that area.

  • No, I've been wanting to hop on the whole velvet bandwagon for a while now, and I thought this dress from American apparel would be a great way to try it out.

  • I always love a good like underwire bustier top, because I feel like it's obviously really fitted and really sexy, and a dozen moves a lot of justice over all.

  • This dress fit really, really well and was surprisingly flattering.

  • The only problem is it kind of looked like a sexy Santa dress, which is definitely not something that I was going for.

  • Next up, I tried this absolutely gorgeous magenta silk dress.

  • I was by some random ass brand that I had never heard of and honestly, it looked like a little bit cheap.

  • What is only $10.

  • So it was a pretty good deal.

  • I always find that wrap dresses are really flattering on me.

  • Although I creature, they work on pretty much every figure.

  • This dress just kind of slayed me.

  • It was kind of hard to show you guys, but the movement on it is just incredible.

  • I'm always a sucker for a good leg split.

  • I really, really wish that I had found this dress in time for my senior prom because I think it would have been so perfect.

  • Unfortunately, I just didn't really know what I would use this dress for in my everyday life.

  • Though continuing with the maxi dress theme, we have this one that's a little bit more tame by Zara for $19.

  • It's a beautiful Navy pinstripe, which I feel like is pretty on trend right now.

  • There's a lot of this kind of pin striped wrap dress situation going on.

  • This one also had a really open back, which normally ice try away from because I'm kind of uncomfortable with not having my boobs in a bra, especially when the bra straps are so low, like this one.

  • But the fabric is actually thick enough on this one that I feel like I got a decent amount of support and Nips would not be showing through.

  • Speaking of the Nips, this is a super sheer bodysuit that is away trend year than what I normally wear and by some brand of brand that I don't really know.

  • But I really, really liked the embroidery on this, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

  • This is, honestly kind of against my better judgment to show this much of my body on camera, but I actually really like to have a floral design looked.

  • I think it's quite flattering, actually.

  • The only thing I was kind of uncertain off was this whole cut out neckline, which I feel like made it look kind of costume.

  • Also outside of Instagram photos, I'm not sure where I would actually be able to wear this without people giving me really weird looks.

  • Here is a little crop top that I tried on from nasty gal.

  • Have you guys seen girl, boss, By the way, That show is amazing and really made me wish that nasty gal was still under original ownership.

  • It was $16 which honestly, is kind of a lot for a crop top.

  • But I thought the design was super cute.

  • Please ignore here that I'm blatantly not wearing pants, by the way, I just didn't have shorts to put on with this.

  • This turned out to be super cute on, and I really, really liked long tie detail.

  • I think would look really cute with, like, some short shorts, because the long tie would help balance out that shortness.

  • The problem, though, was that I did find the fabric a little cheap feeling.

  • It was that polyester that you find a lot that, like forever 21.

  • So I didn't think it was worth the $16.

  • Last thing I tried out was this gorgeous red gingham top which is by a brand that I don't really know.

  • But it reminded me a lot of the stuff that I see it like Sora who are a lot of fancy, your designers that run like 102 100 bucks.

  • I love the silhouette of this top.

  • I think it would be such an easy pairing, just with some distressed jeans or cut off shorts.

  • If this top had fit me right, I 100% would have bought it.

  • But unfortunately it was really, really big in the boob area.

  • So ultimately I had to pass on it.

  • Here's a round of everything I tried on.

  • I obviously passed on a lot of things, but I ended up getting that blue dress and those black heels which I am just so happy with.

  • Anyways, thank you so much for watching.

  • If you enjoyed.

  • Please don't forget subscribe.

  • Give this video thumbs up and leave a comment down below you soon.
