few YouTube creators accomplish. You had an astonishing 100,000 people subscribe to your

channel. Genuinely, I am very grateful to you guys for subscribing. We know that numbers

on YouTube can get really big, but we hope that you don't lose sight of the reality behind

that six digit milestone. Each and every person who is subscribed to your channel has been

touched by what you created. They were inspired, challenged or entertained. And as we know,

a lot of you are getting jobs after subscribing. Thank you very much. You achieved this milestone

with hard work, perseverance and probably a healthy sense of humor, too. And what you

accomplished can't be taken away from you. We'd like to recognize you and all your hard

work with this Silver Creator award, a small token of our esteem and respect. We know that

you don't do this for rewards. You do this because you have a drive to create and share

because you found an audience who cares, (which you do). Believe us when we say that we can't

wait to see what you do next! A million subscribers may seem a long way off right now, and it

does seem a long way, but you are closer than you think. We're rooting for you. Congratulations.

just quickly show you the YouTube silver play button. Yeah, a fantastic achievement. It’s

quite heavy as well. We would love to get up to a million subscribers. So, what I will

do now, I will share with you three really important tips for helping you to grow your

own channel and in particular, what has worked for us over the last few years. For anybody

who's interested in growing their own YouTube channel, I want to give you three really important

tips. Three things that have made a massive difference to my channel over the last couple

of years. They’ve really made a difference to getting that magical 100,000 subscribers.

The first important thing is to create REALLY GOOD CONTENT that your users will want to

watch; that they find useful, informative, educational, entertaining. Whatever it is

that your channel is focused on, create your content around your viewers. Don't do it for

you. Don't do it specifically to increase a subscriber count. Do it to create BRILLIANT

CONTENT. So, when I started this CareerVidz channel, I created it with the sole purpose

of helping as many people as possible to pass their interviews. And of course, then people

started to subscribe. I was creating the content around you guys. The second important tip,

and this really made a big difference to my channel subscriber count, was the SCHEULE;

the number of videos that I was creating. And again, really good videos. I started off

doing probably a video every couple of weeks, maybe once a month, and then I increased it

to once a week. But then, when I increased to about three

videos a week, three good videos, my subscriber count really started to skyrocket and we reached

our 100,000 subscribers mark a lot faster. Think about increasing your schedule, because

you don't want to get burnt out with your channel. Far from it. But you know, the YouTube

channel now is basically a full-time job. And I'm creating now probably about five videos

a week. So, between three and five, that's worked really well for me. Now, the final

and probably the most important step to getting more subscribers, is to look to BUILD A COMMUNITY

on your YouTube channel. What I mean by that is encourage people to talk on the videos,

you know, and respond to all of the comments. We get literally hundreds of comments most

weeks. I will come on and try to respond to virtually all of them. That's about building

a community on your channel; and people will then come back to the videos. Create great

content; look to increase your upload schedule; and finally, build a real strong community

on your YouTube channel. And you'll be able to not only get to the 100,000 subscriber

mark, but hopefully to the 1 million and beyond. Guys, thank you for watching and if you haven’t
