I heard the plot for this season is very funny.

-I think so. The writers are great.
-No, they are. They're really great.
But basically -- yeah. -Last season ends
with Andre Braugher's character, Captain Holt, getting demoted.

-We're all -- Yeah, we're all his bosses now,
and he's having trouble adjusting.
-And that would never happen in real life, would it?
-I don't think so. -No.
But it makes for some good comedy.
-There's a lot of stuff on a show about cops in our show
that doesn't happen in real life.
-'Cause it's fake. It's a television show.
-It's super fake. [ Laughter ]
-It's a comedy show. -Yeah.
-Is there any dream guest stars that you would want on the show?
'Cause you've had everybody on there.
I've seen Bill Hader on there be funny.
-Oh, yeah. -Maya's been very funny.
Sandler. Adam Sandler was on your show.
-Sandman was on there. -Yeah.
-Yeah. -Is there any dream guests?
-For us, there's one.
My character's obsessed with "Die Hard."
So we've long said getting Bruce Willie
would be, like, a huge thing. [ Cheers and applause ]
But -- yeah. -Bruce Willis watches our show.
-Does he watch it?
-He watches our show all the time.
-I mean, I've appealed many times for this.
I think maybe he's waiting for the end to surprise us
and, like, shock the world, or he hates me.
[ Laughter ] -No, no, no.
He's the coolest guy. -I love him.
-Bruce, trust Andy. Anything he does is great.
He really does -- You got to see "High Kickin'."
-Truly. -I mean, right?
That's what we should send to Bruce Willis.
-Truly. -We'll send him "High Kickin'."
