It was right after Alex had actually announced publicly that he was going to renter chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer. And he had come back actually to the green room and talked to all the contestants who were on the tournament. And we could really tell that, like, it was tough for him. So when I got up there like, obviously I wasn't going to win the game or anything. So I was like, I could try to figure out the right answer, or I could do something for this person who might need it right now. That was really sweet. That was really amazing and emotional. Everybody-- but you're a huge fan anyway. You've been on the show before. I have, yes. About a year and a half ago I actually won $100,000 on the college championship. Wow. How many days were you on then? I was on four days then, and then two days this time. Two days this time. Yeah. And so you weren't doing well, and like you said, you just decided-- you probably could have come up with the answer, but instead of doing that because you weren't going to win anyway, you decided to do something really thoughtful and sweet. That was amazing. So what did you do with the $100,000? So, I go to Brown, which costs a lot of money. So I spent a good amount of it on tuition, and another thing I decided to do is I took like 20 friends out to eat and paid for all their meals, and they apparently, according to the check, had a lot of fun. And so did I. That can add up. Yeah. You probably didn't think it was going to be as much as it was. No, I didn't, but you know it's all good. Yeah. So and then what has the response been like since you've been on the show? It's been crazy. So I was at the launch party for this episode with my friends, and my mom texted me. And she was like, you're trending on Twitter. And I was like, OK mom. Like eight tweets isn't trending. And then she was like, no, really. Like check. And we love you Alex was like in the top 10 trending hashtags on Twitter. And since then like it's been really crazy. Like I'm here. Also like Ryan Reynolds, Chrissy Teigen, like all tweeted this moment. And there's just been like a lot of energy around this. And kind of to keep that up, something that a lot of the contestants on the tournament and I are going to be doing tonight and tomorrow night is, during the finals of the Tournament of Champions that will be airing, we're going to be playing along at home. And for every question we get right we're going to donate $1 to the Lustgarten Foundation to support pancreatic cancer research. Wow, good for you. That's fantastic. I don't know how you're going to be watching along at home, because you don't own a television. So I'm going to give you one so you can watch at home. I have-- I have a bunch. They're all around. Oh my God. Gonna fit in your apartment? Uh, we'll figure it out. All right. It's a 75 inch. I hope so. All right, we also want to do something in honor of you and Alex Trebek. Shutterfly cares about supporting causes like this, so they're going to donate $25,000 towards pancreatic cancer research. Wow. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Thanks for being here on short notice. I really appreciate it. All right, we'll be right back.
