  • like this sand sculpture that appears to be vandalized 6

  • by a teen in Hawaii and other works of art 7

  • Here's a look at some masterpieces that haven't 9

  • been treated so nicely. 10

  • That sand sculpture in Hawaii, it was on display 12

  • at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. 13

  • Sand may not be the most permanent medium 14

  • but this teen didn't help. 15

  • In surveillance video she can be seen 16

  • pulling a head off the sculpture. 17

  • She pulls off the nose of another head, 18

  • then she throws a pillow at it. 19

  • Honolulu police reportedly arrested her 20

  • and the artist who created the sculpture 21

  • flew to Hawaii to help repair it. 22

  • Sometimes the damage is accidental. 24

  • This 12 year old boy caught his fall by accidentally 25

  • punching a hole into an oil painting 26

  • at an exhibition in Taiwan. 27

  • The 17th century Baroque artwork 28

  • was reportedly valued at $1.5 million. 29

  • Fortunately for the boy and his family, 30

  • insurance covered the restoration costs. 31

  • and look at this, a little boy reaches out 33

  • to touch a statue when it falls over. 34

  • It happened at a community center in Kansas. 35

  • Fortunately the child wasn't hurt. 36

  • The statue, however, wasn't so lucky. 37

  • It was valued at over $100,000. 38

  • Insurance paid for that one too. 39

  • This piece of art was shredded in front of everyone. 41

  • As soon as the gavel went down to mark the sale 44

  • of Banksy's Girl With Baloon for $1.4 million, 45

  • the painting seem to fall from his frame and into pieces. 46

  • It was all on purpose, since a shredder 47

  • was built into the painting. 48

  • Some guess this might actually increase it's value. 49

  • The painting has since become known as Love is in the Bin. 50

  • It's another piece of subversive art 51

  • from the elusive, mysterious, Banksy. 52

  • A woman was trying to snap a picture 54

  • of priceless works by Goya and Dali 55

  • when a wall falls over almost on top of her. 56
