Let's take a look at the note here. This proverb basically means everyone always thinks that his or her own problems or burdens are worse or harder than other people. This proverb stresses that it is human nature for many people to behave this way or many people to think this way. Once in a while some people will compare their problems to someone who has a lot more and then feel lucky. There are a few people that do this once in a while. Not all the time but once in a while or at least it reduces ones pain. Okay. Let's continue. The proverb seemed to appear in this form in the 1700s. That's when it became more popular. However, the idea was first expressed in 1573 by George Cascoigne His quote was 'Everybody thinketh their own grief greatest. "Well pretty much the same idea. All right. And anyway let's we have a couple of examples to cover this. Example number one. Of course both of these are a.b parts. So example number one. A says she is constantly complaining about her life, but personally I don't think she has serious problems. And of course B would say, well every horse thinks his own pack heaviest. Okay. Or number two here. Again an a/b. A says why do people always complain so much ? And B here says well every horse thinks his own pack is heaviest. All right. So that's just the way you may hear it used. Anyway I hope you got it. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for your time. Bye- bye.
