She succeeded to become a big star in Hollywood. Again that's wrong with the X. With the check, this is correct. She succeeded in becoming a big star in Hollywood. Again verb + ing and the last one here. Again with the X, this is wrong. The police succeeded to capture that criminal. No. You should say the police succeeded in capturing that criminal.
