If something is eye-popping it is so impressive or attractive, it makes someone's eyes protrude like almost like stick out, protrude while looking at it. So sort of like wow. Kind of like that. Or, I don't know kind of reminds me of Jim Carrey in "Mask." You know, in the cartoons too, the eyes actually pop out. You know when they see something that's very impressive or very exciting we say something is eye-popping. All right. Let's look at several examples here. Example number one, Jennifer Lopez wore a very low-cut eye-popping Versace dress at the 2000 Academy Awards that started the fashion of the safety-pin dress. Yeah. I remember that. Of course. you know. it was one of those dresses that looks like it could slide open very easily, and it was really low-cut almost down to like where her navel was. I forget who she was presenting an award with somebody at that time and I remember the actor saying I don't know what i'm doing here nobody's looking at me. So of course it was definitely considered to be an eye-popping dress. I know several other celebrity females celebrities kind of copied this for a few years after. Its kind of over now. But at one time that safety-pin dress ... I don't know how they actually did it to stick, so that it doesn't open and show everything. But obviously they have something in there that's kind of holding it. So they call it a safety pin dress. So I don't know are they really using safety pins ? I don't know that that sounds dangerous. It sounds like somebody might get stabbed somewhere. But anyway that's the way they refer to it. But that was definitely an eye-popping dress. Okay. Let's look at number two. Richard Burton gave Elizabeth Taylor... remember when Elizabeth when they were both still alive. Remember, Elizabeth Taylor married many many times, but she married Richard Burton twice, and I remember there was a point where it was very famous because he bought her this extremely huge diamond ring. So Richard Burton gave Elizabeth Taylor and eye-popping 33.1 9 carat diamond ring. Yes. Years ago we definitely say that was an eye-popping ring. Oh my God ! Look at that. All right good, and number three. He let her use you know, he let her use his credit card and later he received an eye-popping bill. Ah What ? Oh my god ! Maybe she took advantage of this. Okay anyway, I hope you got it. I hope it's clear. Thank you for your time. Bye-bye.
