An object will continue to remain at rest or uniform motion unless acted upon by an external unbalanced force. Unbalanced force. These balls are at rest. They will not move unless some kind of force acts on them proving Newton's law. The law also states that the ball will stay in a state of constant velocity in the absence of an unbalanced force. This means if there was no frictional or any other force, the ball would never stop. But, we have always seen that a moving ball ultimately comes to rest. Do you know how? Rewind. Play. Force of friction makes the ball stop. The End. Subscribe to our YouTube channel: Smart Learning for All.
