字幕列表 影片播放 列印英文字幕 Welcome to New Orleans also known as the Big Easy this is one of the most unique cities in the US, famous for Mardi Gras filled with music Cajun Creole food art history and so much more located in Louisiana and nestled and crescent of the Mississippi River we're going to old French Quarter in the historic Garden District and also check out the food scene let's go check it out the party started on a Southwest flight where one of the passengers were celebrating a bachelor party. I am in New Orleans Bourbon Street there's nobody here right now early in the morning the Essence festival is happening right now so everyone stayed up late - except for us! Haha. Perfect time to photograph cool I'll go to a restaurant called Galatoire's we're about to get some Creole food there's Galatoire's - we're about to get our food on. we took a ride in the historic streetcars down st. Charles Avenue headed to the garden district this is a famous neighborhood in New Orleans noted for its opulence and beauty and amazing architecture the street is lined with the beautiful live oak trees many of the mansions that you'll pass by were owned by the plantation owners made very wealthy by cotton and sugar the mansions here date back to the 1800s some are done in Greek Revival style or Victorian style and also as you travel down you will notice Loyola University and Tulane side-by-side next we pass through the city and we see the mercedes-benz Superdome. Did you know that in 2005 Hurricane Katrina blew the roof off the Superdome and more than 10,000 people sought shelter inside? This is Lafayette cemetery. Now it's time to head to one of the spookiest places and haunted places in New Orleans the cemetery different died in the summer the summer was the time of death in New Orleans so I'm in the cemetery right now all the tombs are above-ground this one even has Marty's are out the all of these are from 1800 so I can't seem to find my brother and this is a haunted place there happens to be a ghost in here so I hope he didn't end up going with a ghost find out where could he be? where could you be? Oh what!? Mike where was the ghost? did you see him? He went that way. Oh really? After that little scare it's time to head back into the city to visit the French Quarter the French Quarter is compact and easily walkable it's also the oldest neighborhood within New Orleans and the original settlement established in 1718 walking down the French Quarter the French Quarter has a unique fusion of cultures including French Spanish Sicilian Italian Africans Irish and many others as you walk through the French Quarter you'll see some of the most interesting people musicians and stunning architecture that includes intricate ironworks and courtyards the most famous street is Bourbon Street so without further ado let's go check it out I hear music There's fried chicken in there this is Bourbon Street so that's Bourbon Street and it's not even nighttime yet fun for the whole family. Let's go check out the rest of the French Quarter. Cool architecture a lot of antique shops around here a lot of art galleries toulouse-lautrec kind of painting on the courthouse right here this is the Louisiana court house and then behind me Brennen famous restaurant in school now they have these cool lanterns here with real fire. since Jackson Square Plaza de Armas from 1970 it was a national historic spammer here we are Basilica St. Louis of France in Jackson Square the st. Louis Cathedral is the oldest cathedral in the United States founded in 1720 it's done in Renaissance and Spanish colonial style architecture the famous cafe du monde where you get beignets and chicory coffee got everyone and their mother here we got the French and the Italian flag and the British flag down here now it's time to get some delicious food at one of the most famous restaurants in New Orleans - Commander's Palace. Commander's Palace famous restaurants this is the courtyard of Commander's Palace which is one of the famous restaurants in New Orleans look at how beautiful this is okay so I just ordered seafood gumbo Mike ordered shrimp with Okra and BP got Turtle soup with sherry, I just [music] Let's fly down, or drive down to New Orleans. That city, is so pretty... Explain your outfit. This is like a religious revival outfit here. What did he tell you to wear? Collared shirt and pants? Pan the camera that way... Ok, so we didn't bring a suit but we brought Columbia The Columbia outfits, he's like the brand ambassador and Mike got dressed up in Columbia and he got in the restaurant.
