- Okay folks, today's a special day.

I'll tell you why.

There is a certain individual on YouTube,

on Instagram, on social media as a whole

who I've been quite a big fan of,

I'm gonna say for the better part of like 7 years.

He's never been on this channel before.

You never heard me talk about him before.

But that's all gonna change today because

in 10 minutes I'm gonna head to his office.

About a 45 minute uber ride from Santa Monica,

which is where I am right now,

and when I get there, oh, yes.

Yes.

Oh, freshly squeezed.

Mm.

Good start to the day.

Mm hmm.

(soft music)

Okay, so the plan is to pack up this room,

throw everything back in my camera bag,

grab an uber, go an hour to my friend's office,

then I'm headed to San Diego.

(upbeat music)

(upbeat music)

I'm totally kidding.

Okay, that should be everything.

Good to go.

My uber is waiting outside.

(upbeat music)

okay we're in the uber.

I'm in the uber.

It says 51 minutes to destination

so that's quite a bit of time.

So I think I'll shoot some backseat B roll.

And, yeah, this is what that looks like.

So, that was the uber ride.

Not very exciting.

Just mostly highway traffic but I have arrived

at the destination for the next few hours

that I'm very excited to show you guys.

Um, I feel like I should probably

just tell you who this is.

I'm hear to meet Zach King one of my favorite YouTubers.

Kind of like a little bit of a magic background

but what he's doing right now and what he does online

with Vine and, rest in peace, (soft piano music)

Instagram, YouTube all the different platforms

that he is attacking right now.

He's just a great creative force

and I want you guys to meet him and I heard

that he's got a pretty dope Nerf setup and

because I'm building an armory of my own,

kind of want some inspiration.

See if we can adapt some of those blueprints.

- [Zach] Glad you guys could come by.

- We have so much to talk about but first

let's just, let's get the tour out of the way.

I'm dying to see the place.

- I'm gonna show you around.

- Whoa, whoa. - This is

my favorite part of the studio.

Hail the Nerf set.

- I've heard a little bit about the fact

that you have a Nerf fortress.

Now, I haven't seen it yet.

I was told that you have like a big setup.

Because I'm trying to make a setup of my own

at my office.

I was told you would be good inspiration for this.

- This would be a good template for you.

Get some cargo containers and build this.

(intense music)

There's a lot of fun goodies here.

We've got a zip line.

We've got a rock wall.

We've got the armory.

But actually you're not allowed in there.

I want to show you the proper way to get into the armory.

Got plenty, plenty of darts.

- [Peter] What, what?

- It's like every kid's dream, right?

And grown adult's dream. - [Peter] This is insane.

- So if you open up our secret bookshelf here.

- [Peter] Oh, yes, yes, please.

- There's supposed to be fog that like billows out.

This is the armory where we usually store

kind of organized but right now it's disheveled.

And we're trying to reorganize and clean up

cause what happens after a battle is everyone plays

and they leave their blasters all around the warehouse.

So, they're never picked up and put back.

- [Peter] This is insane.

- This is my new favorite.

Prometheus.

(toy gun firing)

- [Peter] What the heck.

- Yeah, eight a second, something like that.

- [Peter] Really, what's the fastest like rival blaster.

- So I mean, I don't know about, they're all kind of equal.

- [Peter] Yeah these are awesome.

- But this is my favorite because you get a lot

of agility with sneaking around corners.

You know this is great cause you can shoot a bunch

but actually I love going around with these

cause you can pop it around, you know,

like I said, a corner.

Like you can do different moves.

- [Peter] You can blind fire it almost.

- Yeah, so, it's fun.

There's a lot of, there's a fire pole

that comes down here.

You know when I have a newbie, I'll show you,

but usually when we throw you in to a battle

we would not tell you about the little secret

president's bunker here cause then we can snipe you

from one of these hidden angles or

takes us up stairs.

- This just keeps going.

Look at this.

- So, third story perch point up there.

This takes you back down.

This is a fun little, it's kind of a safety net

but it's also just you can jump and get some shots.

- [Peter] So you don't fall.

- Zip line which you have to try is right up here.

- [Peter] Oh, fully plan to.

- And that takes you back down on the fire pole.

So the key is wrapping your legs.

A lot of people try to do this

and that'll like give you skin burn.

- [Peter] How do I vlog and do - Want me to take the camera?

- [Peter] Alright fire pole ready?

- [Zach] Dude, that was smooth for your first time.

That was really good.

That was awesome.

So, should we grab some people and do a battle?

- [Peter] 100% we should. - [Zach] Alright.

- So that's mine?

- [Zach] Alright Pete we're gonna upgrade your blaster.

- Okay, I can't even.

We're gonna upgrade my blaster.

I mean how many times a day do they do this?

We're mounting the cameras to the new heavy artillery.

It's gonna get real.

These single shot ones is probably my favorite.

Feels so good in the hand but this thing, whew.

It's gonna get real in here real fast.

- I honestly, just hold it down here.

I just do this.

- That's pointed at my face.

I was like (laughing)

How many rounds do you guys play?

- [Zach] We'll go two hours.

- Two hours?

I would pass out.

I would actually pass out.

So once you get somebody for the first time,

you can upgrade to the fun stuff.

- Oh, fun incentive.

- [Zach] You want to take the zip line down?

- Yeah, yeah.

No, I don't want to take the zip line.

Sounds not fun at all.

that's how a Nerf battle is meant to be.

Just in case you were wondering,
