so it's official, guys. But is this something that you guys

have been looking forward to?

That's kind of a big moment every year

for a cast like yours that is so beloved by a fandom.

What's it like to come back to Comic-Con?

What do you look forward to seeing?

- Dangerously validating. (Josh laughs)

Comic-Con is an extremely validating experience

'cause all your fans are kind of in the same room.

And then you leave Comic-Con

and we go back up to Vancouver,

which is kind of like the bubble.

- [Lili] And nobody cares.

- And everyone's like, "Who are you?"

So we all look forward to Comic-Con every single year

because we just get praised for three days straight.

- Right, that can't screw up anybody's brain, right?

- No. - That's good for everybody.

- Clearly, it's so healthy.

- He's totally fine obviously. - It's super, super healthy.

- Have you seen my socks?

Yeah, two years ago you did not have those socks, man.

- I've definitely changed. - Right?

- So, where are we at in season three?

What's going on?

How many episodes have you shot?

What's happening? - All 22.

- We're on the second episode right now.

- All 22, that was quick.

- No we've shot, we're in the middle of two.

Beginning of two. - Yeah, the beginning of two.

- We just began two. - Yesterday.

- Technically, we're one-fourth done with two.

(all laughing)

- We've done two out of eight days,

so we're 25% conquered episode two.

- Excellent, excellent. - Thank you so much.

- No, we're just getting warmed up.

- So what is season three all about besides

Archie being shirtless seemingly

for the entire season in prison?

- That's it.

- Is that the theme of the season?

- You've got it. - I mean, that does happen,

the shirtless thing. - Kevin being shirtless.

- Kevin, yep. Kevin may or may not be shirtless.

- We're hoping that happens this year.

We'll see.

- Just everybody shirtless.

It's a shirtless season on Riverdale.

- I hear that we get to see where

FP's serpent tattoo is

at some point. - Oh!

- You need to stop making that face.

Oh my God!

- I'm just saying. - Is this a story development

that just happened just now?

Did we just decide on this?

- No. - Yes.

- Off-cameras.

- It's heavily rumored.

- Okay, okay. - Yes, yes.

- I mean, it's always kind of hard to talk about

'cause I feel like everything is so under wraps

but it's definitely a new mystery.

How would you kind of describe what the mystery is?

- Vaguely describe it.

- Dark, film noir.

- It's very much involving

the kids at school.

- Okay.

- And it's kind of intertwining all of our stories

which is fun.

- Yeah, so I think you're gonna see

a lot of the gang together, which is great.

- Nice.

- People might die.

- People may or may not die. - People may die.

- There may be some blood. - That applies to life too.

- Some blood. - True, true.

- And to this show too.

So it's just one of those things.

- I guess we can't say anything else.

- We just shot a scene - It's a true to life show.

It's a very dramatic season.

- Where all the parents were in one room together

- That's something.

- Because there's a secret that we all share.

into the mystery right off the bat.

Not surprised at all.

I mean, look at that face.

We already had the chemistry to begin with so...

- We were shipping Choni before Choni was a thing.

We were like, "We're gonna date!

- You manifested it, you made it happen.

- We're gonna date on the show!"

- People think online that I have a Choni fan account.

- Undercover, yeah.

- Because of how much I post it.

- We're the biggest Choni shippers.

We've only been together three months, but let's elope.

- Kevin's story line is quite interesting.

So that's exciting.

Because everything with Kevin is weirdly sad.

- But maybe things are looking up.

- Kevin's boyfriend is dating him, so that's good.

Sometimes he shows affections.

- He's kind of in the closet still so it's very confusing.

But hopefully, you know, he...

What's a role you'd wanna have a crack at?

- Pop Tate.

He's the coolest character, I think.

He literally just serves burgers and is happy.

- And he's kind of prophetic. - No, he's troubled.

- There's blood shed.

Yeah there's prophetic.

He had that monologue. - He was shot at

or almost shot at.

- Yeah, see's everything. He knows everything.

- I mean I love Betty but... - Definitely Cheryl.

- I was gonna say Cheryl too.

- Definitely Cheryl. - You thought about this?

- Just to come in in my little

red riding hood outfit. - I'd like to play an FP.

- And your bow and arrow.

- And wield a bow.

- Oh yeah. - Just the thigh high boots.

I would just rock them man.

- I just wanna be Cheryl's shoes.

- You'd be like that character from Power Puff Girls.
