  • Hi there! I'm Mark from MarkTeacher.com and this is another high band IELTS

  • example answer. This IELTS question is all about sports. What's the difference

  • between watching a sporting event on TV and in a stadium? Well, one of the biggest

  • differences when you see something in person is the atmosphere. The atmosphere

  • is something that doesn't always translate onto TV, whether it's the crowd,

  • the songs, or just the passion that you can feel when you're sitting in the

  • grandstands. Also in person, the speed and physical ability of these athletes and

  • in these sports doesn't always come across through the screen. When I've been

  • to see motor sports, the cars are so much faster in person than they look in real

  • life than they look on TV. Meanwhile, when you watch TV, you probably get more

  • access to replays, different camera angles, and close-up shots. In a stadium

  • you only sit in one seat and you only get one view of the entire game, whilst

  • if you're watching at home you get access to different angles, slow-motion

  • replays, and more details that you might have missed if you were sitting there in

  • the crowd. So they're both fun ways to watch sports and they both have their

  • own merits. If you want more check out mark teacher com for more IELTS courses
